The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Beautiful grounds. It would be great for a wedding. But we had a hard few nights on our stay.
When we checked in, there was a lot of sound from the ice machine and elevator. I used the text service to request a new room, but no one answered. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone was broken. I was finally able to call using the speaker phone, and they moved us to another room, which was great.
We stayed for three nights, and these were the biggest problems:
* No hot water. We could only take tepid showers
* Parking was a hassle at night. They had valet (which was great), but in the morning you sometimes had to chase down someone to get your car
* Really noisy. Lots of weddings, so there were loud, laughing people late into the night. Loud door slams and toilet flushes. Loud air and heat (we ended up turning ours off)

The front front desk staff were awesome. Very friendly and informative. We will be back!

Our stay at the hotel was unpleasant and not quiet at all ,kids running up and down the hall, yelling without there parents, slamming doors, didn't get any sleep and we called the front desk and they said they would take care of it they never did. There was no parking due to a outside party. I wouldn't go back.

We loved it! Walking distance to old town. Restaurant dinner was AMAZING. Breakfast was ok - seemed to be understaffed. Staff overall was fantastic! Kind and helpful! I would stay again!

Outstanding classic hotel! Beautiful view of the city. Excellent restaurant in the lobby. Definitely will return!

The customer service was lovely, the restaurant and common areas were lovely. The beds were small and the bathroom was small, but it was a very good experience.

Very near the old town and sawmill area. It’s my first time in abq. Staffs - all and any of them - very friendly and knowledgeable for you to plan things and figure out the time there. Beds are clean and comfortable. Overall 5 star and I would visit again.

The hotel is stunning with its historic charm and beauty. The hotel is clean and the staff attentive. Security present inside the hotel and making rounds outside. Restaurant and bars convenient. I always enjoy my stays at Hotel Albuquerque. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to Stay Clean, Nice and good Service

Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant food was delicious. However, it was understaffed causing a long wait to get refills (which never came) or check as was noted by other guests also having the same problem. The location was perfect for navigating in and out.

Staff were extremely nice, restaurant onsite open when we arrived.

Checkin was a breeze and the room, a basic with two double beds, was terrific-bed and pillows super comfortable newly redone bathroom. Outdoor spaces were lovely with heated pool and hot tub. Sister hotel next door has a large fitness center and rooftop restaurant and bar with gas fire pits and outdoor heaters. Really was an exceptional stay.

Loved this charming hotel. Location was wonderful. Enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Well taken care of all the way around. Our o ly regret was we couldn’t stay longer.

Beautiful lobby. Room has been renovated since I was here 3 years ago. Very nice!

Lovely hotel, the rooms were lacking in feeling compared to the beauty of the foyer. The bathroom was nice, getting hot water took a verrry long time. Check in staff were a little disinterested, but everyone else was very nice. Great location too.

A nice place to stay. Clean and updated. Restaurant on site is good. Beware of the resort fee that adds $20/night to the total. Walking distance to the Sawmill Market and Old Town Plaza.

Hotel was very nice, great location and staff is very nice. Rooms are not very sound proof and we could hear all those around us. Great in all other ways.

Loved the location and the hotel overall, but our room was mediocre and the heater was a bit noisy. It kept waking me up.

Architecture is beautiful! Ambiance makes for a delightful experience.

This hotel is very southwestern. If you’ve never spent time in the Southwest this is a good hotel to start your journey.

Beautiful property and lobby with grand fireplace and soaring ceilings just next to Old Town (which in and of itself was charming but mostly shopping & not a draw for us). The hotel's pool and jacuzzi were a delight even in January. Beds were surprisingly small (didn't expect doubles) but very comfortable. Bathroom beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

This is a super nice stay- excellent bed and relaxing property with unique nearby attractions like sawmill, jazz bar & Flamenco show. I have grown tired of the Marriott property inconsistency, pricing and lack of attention to maintaining their brand promise- their signature bedding is now hit or miss as is their service and cleanliness.

Lovely hotel in great area! Our only complaint was we had no hot water on tenth floor. Nice staff!

Good stay close to the plaza. The Sawmill Market across the street is fantastic for food options. Walking to the plaza was convenient
Hotel is nice and clean. Room was great. Comfortable. We had our puppy with us so it was a good dog friendly hotel. The property is really nice

Great stay, friendly staff, beautiful place.

I usually do not post negative reviews, but Other than being walkable to Old Town & Sawmill Market, we were fairly disappointed in this property. Room was clean but small with small bathroom.
Facilities sort of worn/dingy. Looked nicer in photos.
Not sure what the “resort fee” was for. Also WIFI was not good & hot water unreliable.

Nice, friendly, comfortable facility. Would have preferred better onsite dining and breakfast options. Overall though, it was a pleasant place to stay.

Hotel was noisy and the room floors were disgustingly dirty.
The hard flooring made everything echo and just overall very noisy in the room. Could hear everyone’s conversations and even the tvs. I had a child with us and letting them play on the floor was a terrible mistake. Hands, knees and feet were black from the nasty floor. Hard to not let your child play on the floor. This is a place you sleep and shower and don’t spend time in the room. Like a motel 6.

Stayed here with our family and small dog. Had a great time walking & shopping in Old Town and then dinner at the restaurant. Clean, safe and enjoyable stay.

Chose this hotel to be a step above the average La Quinta or Holiday Inn but it was exactly the same with a much higher price. First they charge a resort fee which is laughable. For what? Seriously, for what? Beyond that, at check in they let me know the pet fee was $75!!!!!!!! That’s over half the cost of the room. I don’t mind a pet deposit fee in case they make a mess or damage anything but to outright charge for no difference in room (I asked) is egregious. This place is full of fees that have no value. Very disappointing.
We were planning to stay here on our drive home but cancelled the reservation as there are much better options in the area. Will be sure to let other travelers know of this experience so they don’t get ripped off for the underwhelming product that’s delivered.

the hotel was great generally. breakfast was very good. rooms were quiet. the bed frames are at least 6 inches longer than the mattress and in a semi-dark room upon entering I jammed my shin opening a 3X3 inch bleeding skin tear! Not happy.

Solo trip back home and Albuquerque was half way so stayed here and wanted to avoid downtown area. This was right off the freeway and had good ratings. I'll say that the staff was the best part as they are very friendly and accommodating. Outside of that, it's pretty dated and rooms are bland with the bare minimum. Looks like they updated the bathrooms and stopped there because it's modern and then you step into an 80s bedroom, not terrible for a night but wouldn't want to stay longer. The hotel restaurant is just okay. The staff told me I didn't want to miss it and it was worth it, but I disagree, it was nothing special and somewhat flavorless, but again- great friendly staff.
So the hotel wins for customer service but needs an overhaul.

What a wonderful surprise! This is old world Albuquerque. Beautifully maintained hotel. At first we were in a room (for 2 minutes) with a barking dog a couple of doors down the hall which we could hear. Moved us m, no questions asked, to an even larger room.
