Stayed one night on the way between Atlanta and the FL Keys. The room was extremely comfortable, spacious, and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. It was very busy and loud. Personally we prefer a quieter dining experience, but the food was amazing. We had a couple of the Cuban specialties and were very impressed. The bar was also fabulous. The only negative: we asked for extra towels and someone to fix the lock on the door that was jamming and did wenot get a response for either of those requests.

Property was a great getaway for our friend's 60th. birthday weekend. Very excellent staff and service. The yoga class on the beach is a fabulous way to start the day.Teri in the restaurant goes above and beyone and is a great representation of true hospitality. Front desk staff excellent and willing to help Reese, Marlene and the evening girl. All around, the stay was just too short. Also the area around the hotel is a mini-Hamptons experience with the shopping and dining. Cannot wait to return.

Beautiful property; fabulous location; staff very helpful and pleasant; and complimentary glass of champagne was a nice touch. Dead bug on the floor of our room as we walked in was not the best first impression. And small bugs in and around the bathroom sink.

This place had towels at the pool for you and chairs at the beach included in your package... the set up chairs , brushed them off and put towel on them for you -- such service ! I am not used to this for this price ! Loved it

The location is beautiful. Booked there as a special sister getaway. We dined in the resort restaurant the first night. I was surprised by the live, loud, country music entertainment. In order to have a conversation with each other you had to speak up. This raised the noise level throughout the room to an unpleasant level. Since we were at a higher end Cuban beach resort I would have expected to hear music that represented the flavor of the place. Instead it was entertainment that could have been heard at any Texas BQ honky-tonk. It was not the right fit for fine dining. The food server tipped a bowl of black beans into my sister's lap. The manager did offer dry cleaning services and desert. The second night we attempted to order grill cheese sandwich's from room service. I started this request at 6.00pm. After repeated calls to the front desk, the food finally arrived at 7.30, Inexcusable, especially since I had booked one of the more expensive beach front suits. The service did not live up to my expectations. I have stayed at cheaper places that attended to their guests promptly. These other places also offered amenities like plastic "dirty laundry bags". My opinion is that the resort at one time has been a place of grander and style. Feels a little dated and like it's run now on auto-pilot. I will not be booking there again.

This was our first stay at Costa d'Este Beach Resort & Spa. We loved our room -- we had a king oceanview in the south tower. Our room was 234, on the second floor, nice sized balcony with two chairs and a table. The sunrise from the balcony was stunning. Staff was wonderful from the front desk to the restaurant and bar and extended to the beach staff. Food and drinks were good -- albeit overpriced (especially the cocktails at the pool bar - $14 for a very small frozen cocktail. We will be returning for future getaways as this hotel is a short drive from our home.
