Husband and I were in town for a show at Red Rocks. This hotel was conveniently located not only to the venue but also great restaurants and pubs in Golden. The room was very clear, quite comfortable and pleasant. The bed was fantastic! My only complaint was the overly abundant use of chemical air freshener in the outside hallway each day. I would have to shallow breathe as we walked from our room to the exit door. But I assumed the air freshener was because it's a pet friendly place and sometimes puppers have unintended accidents 😲 We would totally stay here again on our next trip to the Denver area.

Room was small, little lighting available, tight fit in bathroom, few places to hang a towel, beds comfy, hard to keep room cool even though it was cool outside. Had AC on set at 64 and it would shutoff before the room reached that temperature.

There was some road noise and a bright light from the parking lot coming into our room. Something to mention when checking in- avoid that kind of room. The hotel is very, very cute with lots of “posh” decor. It felt very clean to me as well.

Got a room here when I70 was closed due to snow, not the greatest place in the world but it did the job. Floors needed to be cleaned in our room but I’m just thankful they had a room

I love staying here. It's a very nice and clean hotel. The rates are reasonable. They remodeled everything a few years ago so the decor is up to date. Thank you Aiden!

So I will say that the bed I slept in was clean and very comfortable. The rest of the place didn't look like it gets cleaned thoroughly very often, or ever. I didn't use the shower or any towels, and I noticed that the washcloth that was by the sink had a stain on it (see photo). I was told by the manager of another hotel that it was a blood stain, not feces, but I wasn't going to try to use it. The person at the front desk looked like someone who may be on drugs, but I don't know...so I'll just leave it at that. I would never stay here again...but I did manage to sleep well for the night.

Aiden in Golden is always a good choice. Clean, friendly, affordable, and convenient to western Denver and quick access to the city or the slopes. The staff is very helpful.

At first glance the room looked very appealing. But, then you start to look harder and things were just a little run down or poorly renovated. Our bed was comfortable but the mattress had no fitted sheet, The cable was out (due to inclement weather), we tried to enjoy a cup of coffee in the room but the keurig was broken, and there were people up all hours of the night talking loudly and running up and down the halls. During the second day of our stay, we noticed a strong smell of smoke. After looking out the window we saw a fireman telling us to evacuate. No alarms or calls were made to our room to alert us prior. Turns out the staff laundry room caught fire for a short period of time. The breakfast was decent and the front desk area offered snacks for purchase. Not our best hotel experience but then again, the room was only $99/night.

There was dog poop all over the place outside, really need to make people pick up after their dogs. My towels were dirty with stains and there was other people’s hair on them so that was really gross. Otherwise, the rest of the place was alright. Not a fancy hotel so you get what you pay for but could have been cleaner.

Great location, staff was friendly, but the rooms aren’t clean. We had to be moved rooms because there was no remote, the bedside lamp didn’t even have an outlet to plug into, there was trash & previous people’s belongings behind/under the bed/night tables. If the rooms were actually cleaned, it wouldn’t be a bad place to stay.

Stayed for a week, had a great time. Hotel staff provided strong service, the building and grounds were very clean, and Aiden had the best complimentary breakfast I’ve been served. Location is key with restaurants, Target/CVS, and shops across the street. We went back to Blue Sky Cafe three times throughout our stay. Delicious. On arrival, there was trash from a previous guest left in the back corner of the closet shelf. Only critical item we had, but nothing to upset us. Anytime I am in town I will stay again. Thanks for a great visit!

We have stayed at other hotels in this area previously so I thought it would be about the same. It’s clearly an older hotel that they have fixed up and is updated for the most part. My main concern was that I didn’t feel safe and if I was alone I wouldn’t have stayed there.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts. The rest of the hotel was terrible. There was no noise insulation in the rooms and you could hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors and hall. The rooms were recently “remodeled” but the sink was hooked up to the wrong pipe and a sewer smell wafted out of it, out of the 2 outlets by the bed, one didn’t work at all and the other (which was behind one of the beds ) didn’t have a face plate and the actual socket was broken, and they had a lamp plugged into the broken socket!! So back to staff being good, I told the front desk and they did have maintenance come, and they replaced the broken socket, but the one that did not work but “looked” fine was not repaired. In the bag, the exhaust vent looked like it had never been cleaned, and they had two towel hooks on the wall instead of a rack, and the hooks were over the tp and in the far corner (really weird placements).

I love this property! The rooms are always clean and smelling awesome! It’d be convenient to have a microwave in the rooms. Remember we actually eat at nights and evenings lol. Other than that, top tier!

The only thing wrong was there was some nasty garbage left in a drawer from a previous occupant so the room was obviously not cleaned properly. I was given a discount of $20 fir that incident though.

I stayed at this property for three nights in late September/early October 2023. The location was perfect for me considering the areas I would be exploring. The room was exceptional and comfortable, and the bathroom clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was outstanding each morning and the access to the freeway was convenient but not hazardous. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel property. I would give it my highest recommendation!

Recommend not staying here. The room smelled of wet dog, the floor was dirty, the shower/bath tub was very dirty, and the room was just of very low quality now represented by pictures on line. Don't be fooled and look elsewhere for a place to stay.

Our two-night stay was okay. The room was clean and well appointed, but it was pretty small. The bathroom was tight and the sink area had virtually no counter space. It was also pretty loud. We could hear people in the hallways and the housekeepers cleaning (vacuuming). The breakfast area was clean and nice and there was a nice set up of food, but the employees couldn't keep up with refreshing and restocking things.
