I’ve stayed here before and returned because it is super cute. It has a ski lodge theme and is reasonably priced.

The room was clean quiet and very close to strip. Staff was nice. Room was a little dark. LED lights would help with the lighting. We felt very safe at that location. And there was ample parking for this location at this time of year.

The room was clean in an updated rustic style. Water pressure in the bathrooms are great, and beds are comfortable, but the rooms are dimly lit even with provided light fixtures. Location is prime with a 5 minute walk to the heavenly gondola's.

This is a great spot. some of the motel remodels in Tahoe don't really stick the landing but this place is genuinely nice, with a great vibe, pro staff, and everything in the room seemed high quality. I recommend the attached restaurant Toulouse, even if just for a drink. A couple from NOLA runs it and they are great.

My daughter was hospitalized the day of our trip due to unfortunate circumstances. Not only did they give me a full refund but they worked withhotels.com to process the refund for me. This customer service is incredible and I will only be staying at this establishment in South lake Tahoe from now on.

Comfortable room, clean and nice decor. The room door did have a warped metal plate where the knob meets the door closure, and door was scratched, but everything else was in good condition. Reception friendly, just wish we could buy drinks in the lobby (instead of having to go to restaurant), it was cozy and good hangout place for our family.

Well managed place, nice lobby w/fireplace & sitting area. Location walking distance to central main road, restaurants, shopping. Plenty of free parking. Room was clean, beds too soft tough :( my only gripe. They have cable, Paramount movies a good plus+! :D Shower was awesome, strong, plus they have a heat lamp when you come out of shower. Plenty of power outlets esp on bedside table & on counter space next to wash basin. They have plenty hooks to hang coats, bags, etc., it was all thought of & they gave plenty of towels (you can ask for more). Bedside lighting was bright for reading. It was a pleasant stay, a keeper :)

Facility was wonderful. Room was great. But the receptionist Saturday and Sunday morning was very unpleasant and cold. Saturday when we went in for coffee and the breakfast they serve. I asked where they served the food because there wasn’t anything out. She looked at me like I was stupid and replied with “what food we don’t serve breakfast” so I had to ask again about the oatmeal and granola bars and muffins. Then she decided to look and see that everything was empty. But she was too busy on her phone to realize or be bothered to help a guest. And again Sunday morning I went in this time just for coffee and watched three or four more guests come and go and she never looked up from her phone to say hi or good morning or ask if a guest needed anything. If your gonna have that kind of attitude I don’t think guest services is the right job for you.

Very nice stay. Great value, fantastic customer service, comfortable room and very comfortable bed.
Biggest gripe was the very minimal grab-and-go breakfast, which consisted of a few prepackaged pastries and crumbly granola bars, and a keurig for tea/coffee.
Managers reception M-Th 4-6pm is a nice perk for weekday visitors. Hotel location is nice, not a bad walk to the Heavenly gondola or the lake, great variety of dining inside ~10min.

This is exactly what I expected (hot and a cot). The room was clean. The shower was phenomenal. Slept like a baby. I parked the truck right outside our door. I would highly recommend this place for a mid range hotel in Tahoe.

This is a great property it’s affordable and clean. The beds are comfortable and you can walk to heavenly village and the staff is really nice. You can also walk to the light and watch the sunset.

Please don't count on half the amenities that Expedia (or their website) lists. The breakfast is not a thing; there is no bar on-site, and plenty of other small things added up to a weird experience here. If I hadn't been misled, this would have been a better stay.

I like the location of the hotel. It is conveniently located near Heavenly and there are a few good restaurants within walking distance (e.g. Lotus Pho was really good). The lobby was very comfortable (there were people hanging out at breakfast time and on Friday night when they had a movie night) and the front desk people were friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was decent as well.

Staff was friendly. The lobby was so quaint and welcoming. We had a King room which was a bit small but perfect for what I needed. The rooms were modern, well decorated and also clean.

We loved our stay at station house! It was very comfortable and welcoming. We were so close to the stateline so all the shops and restaurants were in walking distance! We’ll definitely be returning :) also our 1 year old had a blast running around in the room and climbing all over the lounge chair

Property is charming and clean. Room decor is modern. Has nice fire pits, small swimming (closed for winter), jacuzzi, and on-site restaurant (didn't try the restaurant). Free light breakfast in the lobby 7-10am (oatmeal, coffee, tea, cocoa, granola bars, but no eggs). Friendly front desk staff. Decent WiFi and on-site parking. Easy to walk to Heavenly Village and nearby stores. Bathroom had problem with heat lamp turning off after a few minutes and each light came with a noisy fan--no way to light the bathroom without the noise. Would be happy to stay there again.

This is a great hotel - rooms are spacious and very well furnished. The location is very convenient, central SLT is a quick 5 min walk away.
The evening staff were excellent - courteous and friendly. The lady at the reception went out of her way to make sure we had a good time at the fire pit, cleaning the chairs and providing towels for us.

Room was very clean & bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately “breakfast” consisted of a communal area to make coffee/tea (which was also available in room) & a microwave. This might have been due to season but was not made clear on check-in. Otherwise excellent spot close to all amenities.

We have stayed at Station House multiple times and have had zero complaints, but this time the beds were terrible, could not sleep comfortably because the mattresses were so old and sunken in. Our backs and necks were stiff with pain in the mornings. Wish they would have updated all the beds in all the rooms.

Our stay was phenomenal! They were very nice and always willing to help. Hot chocolate was always available and the lounge area was a great place to relax after a day of snowboarding/skiing.

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the style of the room. There were plenty of hooks to hang our things. The lighting was a little dark. The staff was very friendly to our dog, Cassie. We will definitely stay there again!
