The floor is a laminated hardwood so not carpet. which I liked. But, it was so dirty! A nice thick layer of dust/debris. Thank goodness my family and I always pack slippers on our outings. Otherwise, our socks would have been destroyed. We had a booking for 3 queen beds so there were 6 of us. Plenty of towels but only half a roll of toilet paper. It said we could ask for housekeeping between 8am-3pm. So we had to buy toilet paper from the store since we arrived around 5pm. A room for 6 should have more tp than half a roll. The fan in the bathroom does not circulate at all. The steam from the showers of 6 people made a yellow condensation on the ceiling. Lastly, one of the lamps stopped working so we had to unscrew the light bulb to turn it off at night. It’s a touch lamp. That was a bit annoying. A few stains on the towels. You could feel the springs on each mattress. I just expected a little better experience for the price we paid for 2 nights. :(

Upon arrivial, there was a very strong chemical smell in our room that we could not remove by either airing out the room or mopping the laminate floors. The smell was making us sick and I was having an allergic response. It was extremely unpleasant and felt unsafe. There was nobody at the hotel office and the phone number provided for issues and emergencies went to an outgoing message with no way to leave a message. We contacted Hotels.com that night and they couldn't reach the hotel either. We were up until 3am literally crying in that room feeling trapped and uncomfortable. Even though we paid for 2 nights, we left as quickly as we could the following morning and stayed somewhere else. Lake Ridge Hotel is refusing to provide a refund and now we have to take legal action against this hotel and Expedia. I've never had an experience this bad at any other hotel.

Would never stay here again. I reserved a room with two queens, the one they gave us was a single king. The amount of noise you can hear from other guests in their rooms might as well have had them INSIDE. People in another room were arguing for hours throughout the night but there was absolutely nobody available to ensure other guests were protected. Could hear them walking around loudly, screaming at each other. It was a total nightmare stay!

The hotel provides minimum accommodation need and is not designed for comfort.
The hotel has a relative good location and is one of the few hotels that provide single room for up to 6 people. This trip we stayed as a family of five over two night on a weekend in February.
First, the checkin was smooth with contactless and smart lock. All procedures were done in advance to arrival so was convenient and easy.
The room was a room with 3 Queen beds. The facilities was minimal and is NOT designed for six people. There is only a single table with two chairs in the room, one single sink and minimum sets of hangers in the room. Therefore, there was lack of space to place personal items and we ended up having to place many items on the floor, which does not seem ideally clean.
The room is heated with one single space heater and control is far away from the heater so it doesn’t seem accurately control the heating of the room. Following one night of sleep, 5 out of six of us thought it was cold at night although the temp controls says 72F. We contacted the property via text but received no response over the course of our stay so that’s a zero for service.
Noise is loud as you can hear neighbors walking and showing if you’re on the 1st floor.
So. If one is looking for a place to “sleep” for large group, this could be a choice but expect the minimum. For the price you pay on the weekends, I’d find somewhere else that provides better amenity, and comfort.

Contactless check-in and check-out was so easy! No door key or card, just a code to put in the door which was so convenient . Location was great, walking distance to Heavenly Village. The room was large and comfy. Really the only issue was the floor was a little dirty (left our socks and feet dirty) and the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) had already been opened/used.

I never heard from you guys as to our check in information. I called and called and there was no answer. So I had to call hotels.com 45 min after check in was supposed to happen not to mention 1hour and 45 after you said I was going to receive my check in information. Hotels.com tried to contact you and nothing. So they had to move us to a different hotel and charge me again. So I received a charge from you guys, which you should refund by the way. And a charge from the hotel we HAD to stay at because we were already in Lake Tahoe 5 hours away from home. Horrible experience, having to wait outside at a park in the cold for you guys to email me. And I have 2 little kids.

Arrival and check-in was smooth. I appreciate how door codes are chosen. The bed is large and comfortable. Water pressure is good and hot.
There were a couple maintenance issues I told the Office about (loose bathroom sink faucet pedestal, missing bathroom fan timer knob) not sure how those turned out - there was no changes during my stay.
The proximity of the parking lot causes A LOT of sleep disturbing noise from guests with loud engines.
The doors to each room have a WINDOW that CANNOT be covered. When the sun rises, the room is BRIGHT.
The lock was almost impossible to use while drunk, I almost got locked out in 25 degree weather. Touch buttons are a terrible choice.

I thought checking in virtually was super easy online. I am not that tech savvy! They were able to get me in earlier than the check in time( noon) which was so handy with 2 children in tow! Amazing!!

This is a beautifully renovated property. The location is great with just a short walk to the lake. Check in was easy. There was no daily beds made or trash taken out, which was a surprise. My only drawback was the room was very cold. Ample blankets were provided, but unfortunately the thermostat was climate controlled. I would recommend staying here and would do so in the future, but would just bring along an electric blanket or space heater.

Our 1st time with contactless check-in. And is a great experience and hassle-free. The room is clean when we arried. No issues every thing worked as expected. Kids also like as they have their own space in the corner playing with their videos games there’s outlets right next to their bed. Highly recommended if you are in the area with family.

Your check-in was a mess. Several conversations later with both your on-site manager and Expedia and we were taken to a room tucked away in a very dark corridor. The room was a nightmare. Garish color, bed on the floor and a bathroom that was too small by half. When the heater did not work we were given another room. Much better. Question, why weren’t we given this room first? Answer, it felt like we were being punished by the on site manager because we had problems with her check in skills.
Even though this new room was much better it was still much less than we had anticipated.

Overall a great stay. Check-in process could be more streamlined and the beds are rock hard. But very clean and close to downtown south lake.

The A/C did not work even though we set it to the highest possible temperature. It is extremely cold in the morning, and the room is not warmer than the outside. When we called the staff, he said the only thing he could do was to check the AC in the morning. The light was dim in the room, the metal bed frame made noise whenever you moved, and you could hear other people talking all the time

The hotels location was very convenient and within easy walking distance to downtown. The room was clean and check-in was extremely easy as it was all done online before we arrived so we could go straight to our room. The only part that may have been a bummer is you could hear the people walking above us keeping us awake and the people next door to us left the tv on pretty loud so we could hear what they were watching into the night. No fault of the hotel though.

There is no admin at place, you will receive a mail with the key or at least that is the theory. I arrive to the hotel and make a call, i got the code in 5 mins.
If you have any problem you are stick to it… there is no one to help you on the property.
Rooms are okey, i got one clean without any problem, and other with the heater not working and cigarrette smell, i call admin an no solution was made.
They said the heater not work if outside temp is higher than 34F so yeah.. we were at 38F (try to explain that f$&@$ to the grandpa) and neither more blankets available cuz.. yeah you are right no admin at place.

We stayed here for one night and had a good experience. A couple of very minor things:
1. The beside lamp did not work (the lightbulb at least, the USB charging function still worked fine)
2. The bathroom door was a bit difficult to shut (I think just out of alignment or needs to be sanded down)
Overall, did not impact our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Only noise we noted was normal guests arriving and departing--nothing excessive. VERY convenient for walking to attractions.

This was the perfect place to stay for mine and my fiancé’s anniversary weekend. It’s walking distance from Heavenly Village so you don’t have to pay the parking fee at the parking structure in heavenly. The room was clean and comfortable and the swan towels were a nice touch. My only complaint is I wish they have put extra toilet paper rolls in the room. Other than that, great stay and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here over a long weekend and we enjoyed it. No one was in the front office, but we received information for self check in via a lock box in front of the office. It was straight forward and easy. The room was large and had everything we needed. Clean and comfy. A few minor things; the bathroom door was hard to open/close and one of the side lamps did not work. Again, very minor things. The location was good. It was off the main road so it was quiet, but close enough to be walkable to most places. Restaurants, casinos, and beach were all a short walk away. The manager was very helpful. We never met, but he was easy to reach via text message and answered all our questions. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
