The hotel is rated 4 stars and definitely is not a 4 star. We had a late arrival and had to shower in cold water because there was no hot water! When I called the front desk, they offered to send maintenance up but at that point it’s was after midnight, we had already showered and we were ready for bed. Very Disappointing and will never stay here sgain

1.The reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds. Had 2 twin size beds instead and the quality was not great either 2. There was no room service for the 2 days that we stayed there. so, had to reuse the same soiled towels repeatedly

1st night could not get room above 61 degrees, king mattress placed on 2 double bed frames, room was not clean in spots, phone did not work, tv worked sporadically, hotel did not fix phone or tv when requested

Booked here for comedy show- good show- run down hotel but rooms newer, clean & comfy. Charge for parking refunded IF you keep drink/ food receipts!

It was just a typical hotel in tahoe. It was a nice stay but the room is outdated. I couldn’t cast on the tv and the shower is super low pressure. I couldn’t shower properly.

Great stay over all. The room and staff were very nice. The one thing I would recommend for guests with families would be to have room service as an option and to have the Cafe del Soul restaurant have more staff at the FOH.

We stay at Bally’s because of the indoor pool but the hotel smells of cigarettes and although we didn’t have a cigarette smell in our room, it’s in the public spaces. Our room was very musky and not very clean when we checked in. The last time we stayed here the room was cleaner. Maybe it’s a one off. Parking garage has a height limit of 6’8”. Our Subaru Forester with a Thule rooftop carrier doesn’t fit. The oversize lot is around back, behind the garage. Very limited food options in the hotel. No room service available. The one restaurant in the hotel only sometimes do to go orders.

The hotel was quiet during our stay. The hotels in need a renovation, it was clean, but paint chip and dated furniture. Also, there is no room service so that was a big negative for us.

Bath was clogged up on first bath. Had to call maintenance. Tv wasn’t working I called front desk and asked them to send someone and they never showed up. Had to go down to casino to watch my game when I was super tired after a day skiing.

I saw some of the employee working really hard, like the lady who cleaned our room, or the guy who was praying the whole way so we couldn’t smell the cigarette smoke, also there were people at the front desk as well as a people at the pool (at the check-in by the pool) she was an older lady with the curly hair, they were not friendly, almost rude actually, she was talking to the other coworker, barely pay attention to anything, and as soon as she saw, I was giving our child a juice, attack us like a hog started saying it’s not allowed. My point is it’s your job to let us know upfront the rules how to use a pool area, but of course you couldn’t do it because you were busy chatting, instead of coming at us afterwards.

Lovely room. Very spacious. Great view out the large floor to ceiling window. Two chairs for the desk area so you could easily eat there. Kind of a shame there is no room service for food and it’s an extra charge per item to get carry out from the restaurant (which serves very delicious food all day)! Great pool and hot tub at no charge for guests. Really large bathroom and shower, but no maid/cleaning service so you had to call for clean towels/shampoo/etc that they would bring to your door. Coffee shop served outstanding coffee drinks but pastries were old. Would stay there again because the price of the room definitely made this place a great deal!

Issue#1 We arrived at the hotel. I checked in and their seemed to be a problem with their computer. My Visa card was ran ( charged) 4 times. I immediately became concerned. The hotel cashier says dont worry it will only charge Once! It charged me 4 times which took my money and placed it on hold! This was an inconvenience! My spending money taken! As of today Sunday i am still waiting to see if my money will return to the account! Issue#2 The assistant manager at the hotel was very abrasive! No heart or sympathy regarding my card being charged 4 times! He was rude! He said to me" youll have to wait for the bank to release the money. A problem they made! Not mine! Issue#3 The TV in room continued to go in and out with reception! Couldnt watch a full movie! All i wanted was some consideration for what happened or accommodation for my money being taken! I will never stay at Balli again! For families who are on fixed budgets and have to experience this visa card glitch it matters! It hurts!! No bueno!!

I paid in full on Hotels.com site so my stay would be more seamless; which included the hotel stay, taxes and resort fees. The resort fees for our two day stay were $92. Soon after paying the non-refundable amount I recieved an email that parking would be an additional $15/day, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. At checked in, the front desk told me there was an additional $60 in resort fees that Hotels.com "never" collect plus the parking that was owed. Our resort fees and parking total, for a two day stay, were $192. Not a great start to our stay. I was further disappointed that the spa (hot tub) in the hotel shut down at 8pm. There was no mention on pool hours in the room, that I saw, so we missed out the first night. Finally when we went to take showers, the shower handle was broken and we had to fiddle with it to get it to work. The room was very nice and clean. The room was suprisingly quite for being close to the elevator and the beds were comfortable. The other staff we spoke to were all freindly and nice. Not sure if we will ever go back not knowing how much it is ultimately going to cost.

Terrible. So many better places to stay. Room thermostat was broken the AC didn’t work. The guy came and said the wires up in the ceiling access were loose. FFIRE HAZARD MUCH? I asked for two pillows to be sent up, never delivered, front desk staff appeared to be trying to win the award for slowest check in process ever. The only positive I can say is the music was awesome and the round bar bartender was great.

A bit pricey for what you get. I had to ask for extra bathroom items and coffee because what was provided wasn’t enough. Customer service was sub-par from the front desk (two interactions), to housekeeping, and to the valet.

The hotel was Alright overall. The biggest complaint we had was that there was no hot water on all three days we were there. Showers were freezing and when we called to inform them of the issue they were very unhelpful and did not send anyone up to our room to take a look at the problem. They told us to just run the water for 15 minutes and see if that helps, which it did not. Many employees we spoke to said this is a major complaint they hear frequently but when we brought it up to the manager he denied that it was a problem. He was very rude and non accommodating whatsoever of our issue. Also, their restaurant claims to be open till 10pm but when we got there at 9pm they said they were only accepting take out orders. Nowhere on their website or hotel information do they mention that. We were planning on having a nice celebratory dinner and had to change our plans very last minute which was extremely inconvenient. Overall, nice comfortable rooms and hotel but the two major problems will encountered and the lack of good customer service from the staff has definitely deterred us from wanting to stay there again.

This was my tenth stay through Hotels.com so it was my free one. We stayed at Bally in South Tahoe and had a great little getaway. Saw Nick Swardsons comedy show. Food at the Hotel was great, staff friendly. We should of hit the pool but missed out on that do to timing. But overall it was a fun stay. Lots to do in the area and our room looked over the lake.

The property is overpriced with no accommodations such as a microwave for the convenience of no room service. The hotel was dirty, and definitely not worth all the money paid to stay here.
