Hotel is run down. Multiple rooms can be seen from the outside that had beds overturned. The hallways smelled of smoke and must. Water stained ceilings. Front desk staff was nice but when I asked to cancel my reservations due to these conditions, they said they would only refund 1 of 2 days. I reluctantly agreed. After I left, I was charged for 2 days plus the daily deposit for incidentals. Luckily was able to decline that charge with my credit card company.

Title: Clean Room but Overlooked by Numerous Flaws at the La Quinta In

During my stay at the La Quinta I found myself facing a situation where the positives were heavily overshadowed by the negatives. The cleanliness of the room was a definite plus. Housekeeping had done a commendable job in ensuring the room was spotless.
However, the room's good points were significantly undermined by a series of disappointments. Firstly, there was a noticeable leak in the bathroom ceiling, which consistently dripped water, creating a constant annoyance and a slip hazard. Moreover, water had accumulated between the bathtub and its liner, a problem that points to poor long-term maintenance.
Adding to the inconvenience, there was no room service available. This lack of basic hospitality services was a major downside, as I had expected at least some level of dining support, which is typically standard in many hotels.
Communication with the housekeeping staff was also challenging, as they did not speak English. This language barrier made it difficult to address the maintenance issues or request additional services.
Outside the confines of the clean room, the hotel’s broader environment left much to be desired. The hallways were in a state of neglect, and the exterior of the building, along with the presence of loitering groups, did not project a welcoming image.

Ive been staying there for overall 3 months all together. The rooms are nice, but you have to be carful with the mold on the windows and ledges and also the bathrooms. Sometime you get a door also that the key cards do really work, plus the key cards dont really work as is. You can ask for things to be brought up to your room as many times as you want, but it will never get there. Pool is nice, the gym could use an update. Breakfast in the morning could use better work as well. Not much of a variety of food, some days they are well stocked but most days they're out of things and just put the same thing over and over again. Coffee and hot water is nearly always out and they take forever to refill it.

Don't stay here. The rooms aren't clean, you won't get housekeeping, and you can't get clean towels upon request. The front desk employees are dismissive about any issues you may have.

I have stayed here many times over the past 2 1/2 years; usually once or twice a month. While hardly luxurious nor particularly modern, it has always been comfortable and felt safe, and the staff was lovely. Lately, however, the cleanliness has seemed to suffer dramatically, and the rooms themselves appear to be falling apart (torn rugs, doors not working, even a few bugs in the bathroom, where the fixtures are often falling off or sporadically do not work) and the staff is less than attentive. It also often reeks of marijuana in the hallways -- which is hard to complain about as it is legal in NJ now, but since one must sign a waiver that smoking of all kinds are forbidden or one will have to pay an enormous fee (possibly $1250) this seems odd. I hope something is done to restore it to the state of just a couple years ago because the location and comfort is unbeatable!

I didn’t use the tub because of its condition. The hotel needs major renovation. To be fair, the person at the front desk said the hotel has been recently taken over by another chain. The hotel sign is removed from the front entrance. I’m glad I was only staying one night.

This is officially the worst Hotel I have stayed in my life. zero customers service, zero help. The breakfast is just bread, bold egg and tea if you are lucky. on the last day there was nothing left in the breakfast place and only one staff member looking after the reception and the canteen.
Will never go there again or recommend to anyone.

Gave us a key to an already assigned room with people in it. No breakfast foods in the breakfast area. Was told for 45 minutes it would be refilled then just a load of bread was brought out with nothing to put on it.

Yikes. Im never again. Couples physically fighting, cops always there, garbage everywhere, some long wooden board in hallway propping door open, lots of leaks in lobby ceiling, buckets everywhere to catch the rain. Lots of young people having parties. Not recommended if you want any sleep.

There was only one front desk employee .. the key tag for my room door kept giving out .. so I had to go to the front desk for a new key every time I left my room .. the floors where nasty in the room

When I got there the door it was open,everything dirty and not pillows on the bed.I went downstairs they gave me another room but still everything dirty.Thanks god I have a blanket with me so I put it on the bed so I can sleep.I was so tired and it was late that I couldn’t go anywhere.

Very ran down. And not what it looks like on hotels. Com at all . It's like a extend stay the guest live there. Looks like no one cares the way the property looks. They charge 50 for incidentals for smoking but the whole hotel smells like smoke. The water was luke warm and we stayed for two days and did not receive housekeeping at all. I will not be staying here again it's very sketchy.

The location was close to our family and the room size was great for my husband who is disabled. However, our room was not cleaned in ten days and I had to ask for towels daily and put the trash outside in the hallway.

Do not go here when you can spend a $100 hotel for a 5-star quality hotel. This place is really ghetto. Smelled like cigarettes, the elevator was dirty and carpets smelled bad. The heaters don’t work. Feels like homeless people lived there before we went got there.

The lobby was taped off due to a massive water leak in the ceiling. The carpets in the hallways are very worn. There is trash strewn about the hallways. There are holes in some of the hallway walls. Breakfast was kind of skimpy and breakfast staff was not very friendly. Bedding was missing (no comforters only sheets on the beds).
To be honest I'm surprised Wyndham has their name associated with this place. I was expecting better.

Feels unsafe, everything was covered ring from the room to the remote. Woke up to police and fire department when leaving. I will never return here.

NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN(stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights) not worth the price....
once you enter the hotel you will be greeted by a not so friendly and sleepy hotel desk employee (looks like she is not that happy with her job), we were given a room located almost at the end of the building( its okay, not a biggie) but hallways are badly lit and the wifi is poor, once we open the door to our room right at the doorstep you can smell the scent of the old and dirty carpet, you get free coffee and you get free dust on the coffee maker as well(cleaned it but decided not to use it), does not clean the rooms or make up the bed, aircon filter is filled with dust and dirt, bathroom has bits of molds growing on corners and to make things worst you only get fresh towels every three days(they said its how they help save the environment) too bad for us we didnt get the chance to see they if they even changed it. we have no other choice but to stay the duration, we are not from the area and we dont know where to go if we leave....I hope this helps the management of the hotel to improve the facility...

The room was dirty they need to vacuum more than just the middle of the floor there was nearly no hot water in the shower but plenty in the sink the heater in the room was so loud I could barely sleep the thing sounded like a washing machine running all night and ever time we went in the hallway all you could smell was marijuana I will never stay at another Laquinta hotel again. I wish I would of took photos or videos I can’t believe a place could be so poorly managed

The carpet was filthy - stainy and dirty. There were cockroaches running. Lamp was broken. I stayed for 12 days but Room service was not given unless demanded thrice. Fresh towels were not supplied for 4 days. Heater / Cooler never turned off. During rain, water was dripping from roof. Staffs were friendly.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my children. The bed covers were all stained, bathroom shower tub stained black and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Took me 48 hours to get cleaned towels for my family after notifying the staff several times. My self and my children got a very bad cold because of the air quality with a heating system full of dust.
