Room didn’t stay cold due to there being no wether stripping around the door. You could see clear through around the whole door even tho it was stuck. Which also intel had the night bugs coming through a little because of outside light being on in the walkway. The fridge barely kept my items cold at all. The pool that was there wasn’t even functional and we couldn’t use it at all.

A little off the main strip but an amazing hotel for the money! Right on the trolley line also. Rooms are quiet, beds are comfy, showers are hot, but AC wasn’t the best. The pool was under renovation but looks super nice. Staff was friendly. I would come again! Even saw some bears! I’d definitely stay here again

To expensive for how the rooms and environment is

basic room but clean no complaints

To be honest. It's what you pay for. Worth the price, but still awful.

The room was newly remolded and attempted to be beautiful; yet was falling apart in every corner. The door to get into the room was very difficult to close, the new flooring was installed probably and was gapped in places, and the bathroom door wasn’t even attached to the top hinge so we had to lift it to be able to get it to close.

We have stayed here before and were very happy; that's why we came back. Now the gentleman that checked us in was very friendly. However, the remote to the TV didn't work and it took almost 2 hours before someone came with a working remote. When I went to the lobby the next day to tell them we didn't need housekeeping the lady behind the desk was very friendly as well. However, there was a housekeeper/maid in there who had nothing but attitude. I had my dog with me and she made a comment that he was not supposed to be in there. I told her that I was sorry, but I thought this was a pet friendly hotel. She then walked outside with me and made a point of poking a sign beside the door saying that pets were not allowed in the lobby. Sorry, but I didn't even see the sign. Honest mistake on my part; I was in the lobby less than a minute. There is some construction going on next to the hotel, and they were using some of the parking spaces to store their supplies. Probably won't come again; as a matter of fact I made a point of checking out other hotels in the area to stay when we come back. By the way we are coming back in October and for Christmas; I will be taking my business elsewhere and you can blame the maid/housekeeper for that. She should not be interacting with guests at all. This happened on Saturday March 16.

If I could give this place a zero I would. There was baby roaches all over our room. They moved us to a new one and it was really dirty and the heat/AC wouldnt work. Stay away from this place!!!!

Nice tub nice place to stay

Hotel was very old, needs alot of remodeling, mattress sank in the middle.Linens and bathroom were clean. Would not choose to stay again.

Trashy area, parking was very tight, due to construction material in parking lot. Hotel grounds were nasty, as well as the walk thru to the stairs. There was dog’s barking seemed like every room. Dog hair all over the rusty stairs and balcony. Room was surprisingly nice clean, looked recently been remodeled. Jacuzzi tub was a plus. No continental breakfast.

Hotel was nice. But the bed it just killed my back. It was to hard for my liking. I woke up every morning with back pain and could barely walk.

We extended a stay in town by 1 night. This was the only hotel that didn’t raise prices for the weekend. Nice and friendly staff. TV didn’t work and the tub wouldn’t stop running when turned off. More of a trickle but couldn’t be happier for what we needed

We stayed one night, comfortable and convenient. Clean and stocked with towels.

The rooms were decent, comfortable beds, really friendly staff. Actually saw a bear in the parking lot

The lady who runs the front desk was the most welcoming and happy person I've met in a long time. She's knowledgeable, helpful, a great people person, and just joyful. She's made the experience completely. The rooms are clean and cozy, and everything is how it should be!

The room was fairy clean with the exception of the floor. I'm not sure it ever gets moped. The rest of the room was clean. We had a hot tub room #248. The hot tub was clean and the view is spectacular. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. For the price, you can't go wrong. Our biggest complaint is not really the motels fault but the dog walk area is so full of dog poop that we would not even take our dog over there. Pick up your dogs poop people!!!

You get what you pay for type of place. Decent experience, they are very nice at check in and had no issues. My only 2 complaints are the floor in the room was filthy, looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks… and also the dog area needs to be cleaned up. Nonetheless, a decent place to stay on budget and when traveling with pets!

The fireplace is shut off due to renos. That was Not advertised or even stated when checking in. The cleaning crew entered the room even after being told Not to. Motel 6 no longer has do not disturb signs so we put one up. The cleaning threw it away and entered our room even after we told the "cleaning supervisor". The cleaning supervisor stated they would not but they did. She did Not apologize and stated Motel 6 does not allow customer to say No cleaning. Corporate stated that is not true. The microwave tray did not fit therefore it could not be used. There is a 1/4 in gap at the door allowing cold air in. The customer service is horrible and argued that the fireplace was not even advertised. It is literally on their sign as tou pull in and in the pictures with descriptions. The parking had connex, pallets of materials, and various other Unsafe items everywhere taking half the parking area! I have photos but could not get them to upload.

Great room the only down fall was my jucuzzi spout didnt work so well and the jets left a residue in the tub but other than that me and my husband had a very nice n romantic getaway.

Spent a couple days here on a last minute getaway. While not the normal type of hotel we'd stay at, the overall experience was just fine for this level of establishment. The room was clean. We reserved a room with a spa tub which worked just fine and felt wonderful after a day of sight seeing in the cold. Check in was quick and staff were polite. On the downside, parking is a very tight and the hotel is a bit dated. We traveled with our medium size dogs and carrying the required crates up to a 2nd floor using an open metal stairway and along narrow walkway was inconvenient. All in all, it isn't a bad facility, it's within easy walking distance of attractions and does not charge an additional fee for pets (big plus).

Absolutely horrible.

My husband and I rented a jacuzzi room for a couple of days. The room itself was very nice. Everything was updated and comfortable, the room was very clean. We were given some problems at check in because we booked through Hotels.com and they said the payment hadnt gone through when it did. The outside of the hotel is deceiving as it looks run down and gross. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the inside of the rooms are and how the jacuzzi was a nice romantic touch to our getaway. I would definitely stay here again but would confirm everything was set with check in before arriving.

We loved our room with the hot tub and the sound of the creek outside our door was awesome the only issue we dealt with was the parking but it was ok

When I arrived to my room the curtain was in the chair next to the window. The rules for pets are ridiculous. What’s the point in staying there with pets if you can’t leave them in the room to enjoy the sites of the area? Obviously you can’t bring dogs to most of the attractions. Your dog has to be crated on the room. Who has room to travel with a crate? There are no do not disturb signs for the door. The parking is terrible. The parking lot is very congested. The vending machines were either empty or did not work. The jets on the hot tub did not work. Overall the hotel is very run down and needs updated.

It out away from all the excitement and it's a great place just to relax

Negatives:
The motel is very old and in need of an update. The mattress needs replaced. There was only a sheet and thin cover on the bed. Luckly, we had brought an extra blanket.
The motel advertised wheelchair accessible and it is for the ground floor. There is no elevator and we were put on the 2nd foor. My wife is disabled and has trouble going up and down stairs. It would have been nice had their description stated no elevator, then i would have requested a room on the ground. The pet walk has bags and a can but there was poop everywhere. I couldn't walk my dog there because of it.There are no restaurant's. Requires a 10 minute walk into town. The soda machines were empty.
Positives: The front dest personal was fantastic! Carla helped us take our luggage upstairs and even brought ice to our room. We had a room with a large 6 jet jacuzzi. The room was clean and even the floor. I spilled my drink at it took most of the towels to wipe it up. The towels were not black with floor grime like many, even upscale motels are. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
The motel is a partial walk downhill into Gatlinburg. You will enter at the upper end of town. Plenty of restaurants and activities to do in town. Friends that visit us and go to Gatlinburg have always returned. Winter time is not crowded but summer,it's difficult to walk down the sidewalks. We had our pet and this is perfect for pet owners.

Clean, comfortable beds, spacious room. No charge for pets.

Extremely rude staff and hot tub faucet was broken and sprayed water everywhere

Cheapest pet friendly rooms in Gatlinburg and within walking distance to everything and during the fall months you might see bears

Good price usually quite, but not always. The location is nice for waking around town. But the building itself is a little run down. Depending on what room they give you it’s nice.

We stayed on the backside. We were right at the forest. It was a nice view and creeks running below. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch.

Great place!

Very run down for the money. Toliert wobbled. Vent in bath room completely plugged wth dust dirt
2.0
Room was ok but bathtub faucet didn’t work and was only able to get super hot water for a shower. Left something in the room, called the motel and told them exactly where it was and they claimed it wasn’t there. Very disappointed in that as we were willing to pay to have the item shipped home. Properties around motel are under renovation or need to be renovated. Overall would not bad for the price. You get what you pay for.

everything good but the parking

The bottom of the door to the room was cracked so flies and roaches were able to come into the room.
2.0
There is no cordiality upon arrival. The refrigerator didn't work, we reported it and they didn't come. The phone in the room didn't work either. The entrance through the vending machine, horrible. Loose cables and broken doors.

Room 122 had dog hair on the bathroom door. We didn’t have a dog. Mold on the ceiling in bathroom. Tub didn’t drain well, bathroom exhaust fan did not work, we turned the heater on and the smoke detector start beeping within 15 minutes. The Light above the sink did not turn on.
3.0
This was perfect for a what I needed. I just needed a place to sleep that was clean and had all the basic amenities so I could access the Smokies. It was perfectly clean and comfortable!
