smelled like cigarettes, dirty, no wastebasket in bathroom, rough towels

Just awful.

Bathtub had a lot of orange liquid on the tub floor. Toilet seat cover was broken. Carpet had multiple huge stains all over. AC/Heater did not work even when re-plugged and reset, wouldn’t usually care but this night was 27 degrees cold outside. The TV didn’t turn on either. I don’t like to complain, but the reason why they give late 2pm Check In Times is to clean and prepare the room for the next guest.

No knob in the bathroom fawcett, AC loud, glass door to outside was not working, unsafe, just rundown property.

Reserved ADA room for wheelchair access and given a room on the second floor with no elevator. Declined that room and given the only room available on the first floor which was not accessible, the heat did not work, there were no blankets and it smelled like mildew. The whole hotel needs renovation and soundproofing.

Broken heater in room. Br aware, I was also assigned a room that was occupied by other guests, which could have turned into a bad situation,

For the high amount we paid I was expecting something better than what we got. It was more like a dingy roadside motel. Our Uber driver told us the place has a troubled past and the city wanted it closed down as the police were always called there. Now it’s under new management we were told. Front desk and staff were nice, but our room didn’t have enough towels and it took a day for us to get more. Hallways and rooms had a lingering smoke odor. Beds were comfortable, heating worked well. Clogged shower drain took 20 mins to drain. Unfortunately on the day we checked out there were 2 police cars in the parking lot, not sure why.

Check in staff friendly. Room door wouldn't close without raising it by the handle. Bathroom needed some serious help. Sink fixture broken, commode unstable etc. Bug bites when I got up (probably spider not bed bug).

Room was clean - front desk was helpful!

Staff was ridiculously rude and the heater wasn’t working even the supplies were limited and the washroom was broken with that the maintenance team was drunk and high.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. It is old and not well maintained. The vending machines only take $1 dollar bills and the desk could not make change for a 5 dollar bill. The tap water is awful. They had no fresh towels and could not find a plunger when the toilet backed up. The TV reception was very poor.

When my son and I walked into the room, 2 of the 5 lights in the room didn’t work. The TV was stuck on HDMI 3 and the remote did t have the correct button to change it. The phone on the nightstand didn’t work at all, so I had to call the fro t desk from my cell phone. I told them about the tv and he said he would send someone up. They never showed. There were no travel soaps or shampoo in the shower - the dispenser bolted to the wall was empty. We only stayed the one night, but I would definitely not go back.

Old and dirty. Some residents have been there for months. Vending machinnes take money but don't deliver product. Won't stay there again.

Well, when we first walked in the whole lobby smelled like marijuana. He gave us the key. We went up to our room. We wanted to take a shower because we came from 2 1/2 hours away. There was no soap and no shower curtain. I called down to the desk twice I went down there twice. They did give me some soap, but never gave us a shower curtain. so I asked for my money back and then I was gonna go find a different hotel, but they had already charged my account for the three nights and I did not understand why they did that. They said because I went through a third-party Hotels.com that I could not get my money back , we ended up staying there because I cannot afford to lose my money and I was down an Ypsilanti for an eight hour surgery and we needed a place to stay after driving 2 1/2 hours. In the evening, I went to the second shift desk to see about getting a shower curtain and never received one and was departed by with a young male adult, he was very much disrespectful to me as a customer.

Booked this hotel as it said it had a hottub and a pool get here to find out hottub has been broken for years and pool was also broke, the mirror in my room is broke, shower has hair in it, sink in un-useable as there is no knob to turn water on, its broken off, door to room 116 is so messed up you have to kick the door to get it to latch, there is chewing gum under the bed, holes in the wall, and the place is just dirty. Doesn't appear they do any up-keep on the property. If i could get my money back i woulda but they couldn't do anything as i bpoked with expedia.com.

Old very run down building, no comforter or blankets, only sheets on bed, toilet clogged first day, had to switch rooms, had to make repeated trips to front desk to get soap, staff not often at desk or even on property. Nice manager, but he clearly needs more resources. He did the best he could with a really crappy place. Would never go back

The property was not kept up at all. The tv had really poor picture quality, it was run down. On top of this the staff came through knocking on the door before it was check out time to ket us know we needed to check out. I have NEVER had this happen at a hotel before.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. Close to freeway access. The room had a musty order. Would have been nice to have hot water for tea at breakfast.

First Rm 122 issues - No bed cover (only sheets) - Shower door had a broken handle - Telephone wire was cut\ didn't work (no way of communicating with the front desk) Inoperational -Toilet seat was missing parts -Front desk agent Amari was rude, unwelcoming, didn't value customer. - Bathroom had only one adult bath towel. Other was used but was in bad shape and unacceptable. - No Conditioner container was missing ***Second Room*** Rm 204 Door did not close and you had to use force to lift the door in order to close the door. - When I told Amari front desk agent, he nodded his head in acknowledgement. - Rude when replenishing breakfast items - Did not say good morning or hello to anyone - Told me I couldn't use my McDonald's coffe cup for cofee and could only use the cups provided. What is the difference if I use two of your cups to fill my McDonald's cup. - This place is not run or operated with the customer in mind or to please or welcome your stay. Do Not Stay here!!!!!!

Days Inn was ok. Clean enough, staff ok. Very aged and outdated. Yard is a mess around hotel and back parking lots poorly lit at night. While clean enough, the hotel is very aged. Old and worn.

The front desk acted like they were unhappy to be there. Our room only had one towel and getting additional towels too too long. Our TV didn’t work and had to be changed out. There were cigarette buds all over balcony despite room being nonsmoking. Overall, very run down. A total cheap hotel!!

This hotel is aging and needs much work. Our room smelled like smoke, and was so damp our clothes got damp. The walls have unpainted plaster used to fix holes. The TV was fuzzy likely it was connected to an old antenna. The King size bed had a twin mattress pad on it. leaving things lumpy on the bed.

Parked in the lot and immediately noticed someone on the ground hiding behind a car looking pretty sketchy. Check-in went well, staff was nice. Although walking in and through the halls you could smell must/mildew and old cigarette smell. The carpets in the hall looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days and there was broken glass in the hall outside our room. Got in the room and I couldn't take the musty smell. There was no way we could sleep in that room, so we checked out and luckily found another room in town. Thankfully Expedia was able to refund us even though we had already checked in. TERRIBLE HOTEL. Mold/mildew is not safe and this place needs looked into.

Will not return

The hotel don’t look like what the picture shows. Our tv didn’t work and the service desk did nothing about it. The halls were filthy, I asked for a refund and they refused. Will not stay here again. Highly do not recommend. The hotel also allows people to live here. Lots of homeless. Go somewhere else!

It was old and broken bad service no one helped us and the bathroom had no shampoo conditioner or soap there was little amount of food for the breakfast I found a spider in the bathroom the bathroom door doesn’t work it needs two people to open it was not worth the money find somewhere else

The rooms all reeked with cigarette smoke so bad. No pillows available, missing hair dryer, only 2 towels in the room when we had 2 double beds for 3 people and the front desk person that night acted rude when we asked for a 3rd towel. Homeless looking people hanging out everywhere and smoking. Only bagels, waffle and cereal for breakfast. No comforter on the beds only a sheet and blanket. The smoke smell so bad it was in our clothes.

The room needs updating. The bathroom door didn't close. Towels were dirty. I was suppose to pay upon arrival turns out my card was charged when I arrived. The wrong card was charged. The graveyard shift employee was no help. Never mentioned breakfast hours, never confirmed checkout, didn't give up pool hrs. Wasn't even able to explain why my card was charged and never bothered to help fix the situation. He was just rude.
