Just your basic downtown Harrisburg PA hotel, very mid. Nothing went wrong, the front desk staff and valet were professional. It's just an old hotel and not in the classic way. The bathroom was small but was newly remodeled -- that was the best part of the room. Friendly advice -- the thermostat on the hotel water heater could be trimmed at 180F instead of letting it go all the way up to 212F. The hotel restaurant was dim and antiquated, the food and service was acceptable.

There was an issue with the water line/ plumbing in our unit. The toilet woul not flush properly and we would have to wait at randoms times for the cistern of the toilet to fill with water.
As someone whose understands the importance of conserving water it would have been helpful to have been notified of this in advance.
Outside of that staff was very helpful, cleared out room and the breakfast was great.

What makes this stay stand out were the staff. Incredibly kind and helpful. The place is clean. The breakfast is good. My bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a little dated but the staff were exceptional. I'd stay again anytime I'm here. Quick walk to the Capitol also.
