When I arrived, I was a little "ify" about the property, just from the outside, but when I entered, it was better than my expectations. The room I had was an interior room facing the pool. It was a decent size for the price paid. It was enough room for my son and I. The pool and hot tub were clean and a nice size as well. They offer a free continental breakfast from 6AM-9AM, but we didn't wake up in time for that (so I dontknow how it was). The bathroom was a tad bit small, but I like having the sink/mirror outside of where the toilet and tub are. If I come to this area again, I'd stay again if necessary. I didn’t run into any problems during my stay.

The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice! The hotel is designed to invite natural light but, if it’s raining outside they do not adjust the indoor lighting. This makes the hotel feel dark, gloomy, and it’s very hard to see areas indoors. The indoor pool closes early at 8pm and breakfast ends at 9am. There are areas around the pool to enjoy a mea, ample parking, a Dominos Pizza and a Waffle House within walking distance. No coffee available after 9am! This is something small that can be offered to make guest feel more welcome. My rating is a 6.9.

Not so great experience. Hotel was actually more of a motel. Clean enough although the shower curtain was clearly stained and didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned. Also, though I paid for the trip via hotels.com, they charged us another $100 “deposit”when we checked in and after checking out told us it would be put back in our account in the next 2-5 days. We had no notice of that prior to booking.

The place is a little run down but mostly fine for the price. My only complaint would be there was no hot water. Hot on by itself with no cold rendered luke warm water. Ok for a quick shower but definitely not a bath.

I am 5’ 8” and I could touch with bended arm the ceiling of the shower alcove - not ideal for taller guests if all rooms have the same setup. Hot tub closes at 8 pm.

They kept our Drivers license (so we had to drive without a license) and charged $100 deposit in spite of being paid for with credit card. Marginal. And there was hair in the sink.

The property was clean and well kept. The staff were watching us like hawks. The never said that you have to eat the breakfast in the breakfast area. You can’t take it back to your room. The $100 fee they hold upon check in. Still hasn’t been returned to me and it’s been 5 days after check out. Our shower head was broken and they came to fix it right away which was great.

Check in and out was easy. My issues are that the mattress was very uncomfortable and left my wife and I in a lot of pain in our backs and hips. I also heard they are trying to renovate the property but they had room inside the hotel as opposed to the exterior but they were mostly open but we're not options when we were booking. Due to that, the noise levels from the traffic and other patrons kept waking us up.

The hotel charged a fee for the dogs and a $100.00 deposit that was to be refunded at check out. It was not and we left the room in good condition as we are responsible pet owners and travel with our dogs and have never had an issue.

The pet fees were MORE than the cost of the room.$25/pet is ridiculous. Why, The floor is vinyl, there's no carpet, can't imagine a chihuahua doing $25 worth of damage in 7hrs. , Expedia didn't do a good job of stating this in the description, it was hidden in the fine print.

Just a cheap convient stay. Needed to stop dor the evening and get out of the storms.TV reception went out a few times, satelitte but other than that it was a ok place. No elevators. Pool area needs a update.

The only positive was that the room was mostly clean and they were pet friendly. There was a fee of $25 per pet plus a $100 deposit that was not refunded. The shower had a leak which sprayed the ceiling and the paint was peeling on the door to the bathroom. My pets didn't destroy anything and the deposit should have been returned. In all my cheap room ended up costing me $247 for one night!

Ask to stay on interior rooms . Weame late in the evening after a long drive , booked late , and didnt know that there were internal rooms and an indoor pool. The exterior rooms were quite noisey since you are right my car parking. Alarms and people talking, ect.

We stayed two nights for a wedding. The overall stay was good, and the location was ideal for us being so close to Kiln. We stayed in an interior room accessible via the large atrium. This hotel has both interior and exterior rooms with a very well lit exterior seen from I-10. All of the interior rooms have windows that face the atrium and all of the rooms looked to have been renovated from the views of the empty rooms. Everything in our renovated room was new; new mattresses, new mattress covers, new linens, new furniture, new paint. We especially liked the tile floors which were freshly mopped prior to our arrival; they were actually a little damp when we first checked in prior to 5pm but dried quickly once the central AC was turned on. The hotel has gone through a huge transformation seen from older reviews and the word hasn't got out to what a good value this location is. As a result, the hotel was mostly vacant with probably less than 10 cars in the parking lot. We did have some unexpected activity from the fire alarm around 2am our first night; not good for sleep, but assuring that it actually worked with visit from fire department. Manager said it was caused from a smoke detector with excess moisture in the pool area. Our breakfast was comparable to what we have had at other hotels with free breakfast but was notably maintained by same person manning the front desk. The staff was friendly and responsive to our requests. We will consider staying here again in future.

Very good place to stay. Staff is somewhat friendly. Room was pretty much clean. Only half a roll of toilet paper for two people. Bed was very comfortable! A bit noisy at times. Overall a very good deal.

Recently renovated and nice location near restaurants, convenience stores, and very close access to interstate 10. When you exit interstate 10 you are just yards away from the parking lot. Check in was fast Room was quiet even with it being so close to interstate 10. Snacks for purchase in the lobby Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Lots of parking Iron was new Shower had nice water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was hot with grab and go options. Restaurants and bar within under 5 min. walk Very friendly staff

Well it was last minute decision to go to the coast Saturday night after our daughters wedding. We usually stay Marriot but Cruise the Coast and USM had high prices.. found Ramada under hotel.com read the reviews which is why I’m leaving one!! It was a great choice for last minute. However we have added them to our list of hotels to use on the coast Gulfport. Clean updated rooms excellent bathrooms great shower clean !! Nice beds. My husband enjoyed the breakfast I couldn’t get out there bed. Rested well. But I take my Lysol everywhere😁

The $100 deposit is applied to everyone checking in and it is posted as a policy in the hotel lobby. So typically when you give a hotel your credit card that is used for any incidentals and the hotel’s insurance is supposed to cover any damages. This hotel has chosen to use the $100 deposit for damages. This is not a standard practice in the hotel industry and they are using it as a way to make additional money. If they forget to send it back to you or if you don’t ask for it back. I have yet to receive mine back, I shouldn’t have to ask the hotel for a deposit refund and I never should’ve had to pay it in the first place I would not recommend this hotel for that very reason. And I will never stay here again.
