very loud construction was happening, but we didn't hear anything during the night stay. "Bartender" was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very comfortable, smelled amazing, and was clean. We had no hand soaps or anything, but didn't need it so no worries. thanks for a great place to stay

Don’t stay here, dusty conditions throughout the property. Public elevators being used to transport construction debris.Hotel should be shut down during construction. Unhealthy conditions for guests and staff.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. A large portion of the hotel was under construction so it wouldn't be fair to give a bad review on property condition. What I did see of the property was nice and I'm sure the new remodeling will be even better once finished. It wasn't a hassle. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

We were not informed that the hotel is under construction, the fitness center was closed, dining was not an actual restaurant with decent food. The hotel was dirty and old. We were here for business so it was very disappointing and not at all convenient.

Quiet place to stay! They are currently remodeling, but it's on the opposite side of the hotel. Several parts of the rim had been updated. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast options were great. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Great area with easy access.

This hotel is tucked away in a business park, so it is quiet and off the main road. They are doing some remodeling onsite. The staff said they are upgrading the bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can order food at the front desk to take to your room. The pizza and burger we ordered were good and ready in a timely manner. We would definitely stay there again.

We traveled to KC with friends for the weekend. We had a very nice stay. Even though this hotel is undergoing a renovation, everything was clean and in order. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was the standard fare and there was something for everyone.

Check in was super easy, our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful! There is construction going on but it don’t interfere with our stay as we were gone by 8am. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. Go Chiefs!

we drove to Kansas city from Chicago to see family. This hotel was close to their house. the hotel is in a very safe, upscale area near lots of stores and restaurants, while being next to the main highway. despite that, it was very quiet. although they were rehabbing the hotel, there was no disruption or dust. Reception was friendly and helpful. free parking was easy and plentiful. there was a bar and Starbucks in the lobby. Wi-fi worked well. the room was spacious with sofa, desk and a small kitchen counter with refrigerator. the beds were comfortable and bedding nice. plenty of hot water, supplies and towels. it was clean and well decorated.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt in Overland Park. The only bad mark I would give is the free breakfast. It was total garbage. IMO, the food wasn't edible. The only thing there that was decent was the sausage. The eggs were gross and the coffee was nearly see through and never ready first thing in the morning.

Size of room was nice and roomy. Beds were comfortable. We never received ANY housekeeping and we were guests for four nights…not even towels! Breakfast area was not kept up with and there wasn’t a person regularly available at the check-in/out front desk. Also the amount I’d been quoted for our stay on-line wasn’t the same as what we were actually charged?!

The staff were very friendly and I had no issues checking in. However, when we got to the room the bathroom had a weird odor. It looked clean but it was smelly. The air conditioning unit in our room was also extremely loud; I barely got any sleep. The room itself was fine and the bed was comfortable.

Very clean (& I’m picky with cleanliness!) staff was so friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast. Pool was closed for the season in Sept. We will definitely stay again for our future Chiefs games! Easy drive to Arrowhead, about 20 min away.
