The area and lady at the front counter when checking in was really nice. The room not so much. Smelled of urine. Toilet flush made a loud sqealing sound. Towel hook was broken and there was no remote control in the room. The grab and go breakfast had nothing left to grab even with another hr of it being available.. no food.. no coffee.

The front desk clerk that checked us in seemed annoyed she had to look away from her phone to acknowledge me. Another lady the next day was friendly.. but overall the service wasn’t great. Laundry area wasn’t working.

Getting less amenities every year. No shampoo, no hair dryer in a room. You can ask for a dryer and borrow if you are lucky. The area is quiet at night.

Extremely dirty and not maintained. Stains everywhere from the sheets, to the towels, to the floors. Huge stains. There was hair in the towels and trash in the hallways. I would never stay here again. The front desk lady was nice but this hotel is a motel!

TV didn’t work, we called for help but no one ever showed up. Called ask for towels and they said I have to come to front desk to get myself. When I get there , they said I needed to bring the old , wet and dirty towel down to exchange myself. Will never ever stay there again

It was sketchy. Kids were running in and out of lobby and begging us for some of our goods, loitering. The room reaked of smoke and old food. Bathroom was gross and smelled worse than a hospital ward. I can feel the bed spring pop when I got up from the bed and my back was in pain the next morning! I wouldn’t recommend this place!

Think twice before booking! The smell of the hotel reeks of marijuana. Bring slippers to wear in your room, the carpets are so badly soiled you don’t want to walk barefoot in your room. Want coffee in your suite? You need to ask for a coffee maker AND cups. Need a hair dryer? You need to ask for it. This hotel must experience a LOT of theft!! The dirt around the room window was so bad you could hardly see the window frame. The cabinets in the bathroom and the kitchen area were in high need of replacement they were so badly damaged. Have a pet? Beware because no one picks up after their pets outside. Dog poop everywhere!! Never again will I consider staying at this hotel location.

The property was not accurately displayed online. The hallways smelled like incense and the inside of the room like maple syrup with other smells. The carpet was stained and dirty. The more time we spent in the room, the worst it got. We checked out early and got a different hotel. Definitely not a place worth staying at considering it around del amo fashion district.

TL;DR version: even for a budget hotel, this place fell short of the mark. Details: Kitchenette - but no cookware or plates and utensils in unit. Yes, I can request at the front desk, but why make me go to the trouble when a hold is placed on my card? Housekeeping only comes every 2 weeks. That wasn’t clear upon reservation - only on check in. No coffee in room - just downstairs in the morning. Complimentary grab-n-go breakfast was a joke. Coffee, oatmeal, and granola bars. That was it. No fruit for takeaway. Nothing else. Oh, on the final day they had muffins. Not the first 2 days. Bed was horrible. There were springs broken or something as it sunk when I sat on the edge of the bed, to the point that the bed was basically uneven. Towels were ratty with threads coming off. Soap provided, but no shampoo. Oh, and my floor smelled like fish. Not old rotting fish, but like someone had been cooking fish in their microwave. Every. Day. That’s just what’s fresh in my mind as I write this. I’m sure there were other issues. My advice: steer clear. Pay the extra to stay elsewhere if you’re able to afford it.

Check out after 30 minutes of being in the room. Very dirty, filthy and unsafe. There were unknown pills on the floor. Book at a room at the Holiday Inn which was very nice. Don’t stay at this facility.

The hotel looks dirty , smelly , the elevators smell very bad the hallways are smelly ,carpet dirty , I could barely stand the smell. There were lots of noise in the rooms , my room was awful , I got an alergy from the sheets , the room smell old and wet ,and humid , the AC was not cold enough and it was noisy , the tub was dirty , and smelly , I throw out because of the smell , I don’t recommend it

Sometimes no staff was available. Hair dryer and a chair were broken. Hallway stank a little bit. Carpet was a little bit damp. TV, bed, refrigerator and shower were good.

Property smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. Property was dark and dingy looking needing a renovation for sure. Room keys didn't work property. So called kitchenette came with no dishes, utensils, etc.so you needed to request at the front desk. Overall this location was in dire need of a renovation.

I requested a room with two beds. When we checked in they said they had none available with no roll aways for my children. Their solution was to cancel our reservation to try to find us another hotel. Luckily, my relatives had a room with two beds and we switched. I would give them 0 stars but they did discount the room for the inconvenience. Will never stay here again.

I've stayed at other Extended Stay America hotels, most of which were well kept and serviced with a smile. This location however was not kept and filled with unprofessional front desk staff. I don't believe a saw a single smile during my entire stay. In addition, the kitchen and most of the furniture has seen better days. Although the room has enough space to have an "extended stay", it felt like I was staying at a cheap motel. I won't be staying at this unwelcoming location again.
