Great location, refurbished property, good sized rooms. Poor iinternet connectivity (but was on 15th floor), better reception from another hotel locally.

Deposit was extremely to high. Highest ive ever paid. I have travel all over. It Could have had better choice of breakfast items. Didnt like that we couldnt even charge the snacks from down stairs to our room off the $250 deposit.

I left my room for 25 minutes to see what they had in the little store of the hotel to drink, and to wait for my door dash. In that 25 minutes someone got into my locked room stole all of my identification, cash, and jewelry. The front desk acted like I was lying. Did not offer any sort of help. Once I called the police then they were willing to change my room. By then I wanted my money back so I could find a new hotel. It was the worst experience ever. I will never stay here again. The officer thought it was probably an inside job.

The complaint I have is about the person (lady) who worked in the breakfast area. Tues April 16 6am I was making breakfast at counter and left butter/sugar packet on counter. I was going to carry food to table & return to get juice & throw trash away. Before I could even take 2 steps toward the tables, she accosted me and in a very rude manner told me to throw my trash away. I was attempting to explain & she INTERRUPTED me 3 times to tell me she didn’t like cleaning up after people. So I walked off and told her to do it herself. She continued to mouth off about having to clean up & I told her ‘that’s literally your job’. I then informed the front desk representative and she was very nice, very accommodating and even followed up with me later with how she handled it. Very professional. Young black woman with braids. So I would’ve given a much higher mark - say 4.5 but she just put a damper on it. Totally uncalled for and very rude and unprofessional.

The fire alarm came on and off for about two hours interrupting our sleep. This made the night really horrible. Could not get anyone from the front desk on the phone. Elevators were out and no one informed us of anything.

The fire alarm came on and would not go off for hours. Started like 2 AM and went on and off for at least 3 hours.when trying to call the front desk, no one answered. The elevators did not work, so we had to use the stairs to go ask questions. This was a very big inconvenience. It interrupted our sleep! The front desk person was rude that night as well. This was a very hard night due to lack of sleep.

Customer service was horrible we traveled over 2000 miles and ask for an extra blanket as we were cold and they said only if you stay in a suite you can have an extra blanket told us to go to Walgreens and buy one at 1030pm in New Orleans so scary no one would help us at all!!

Hotel was right in the heart of the city which I loved, in walking distance of a lot. Everyone was friendly my favorite was the bar tender Debbie she made me feel so comfortable and at home. My family and I where there 4 days, our room didn't get cleaned once, we had to ask for toilet paper and more towels. The Main thing that highly upset me was the parking, NO where on the hotels website does it say anything about parking/price which it definitely should other than that it's a great place to stay

Air conditioner was very loud each time it turned on. The check in process was so bad. It took over an hour to check in.

Although my stay was fairly a good one I was astonished by the addition of fees I had to pay once I checked in. $250 put on hold on my credit card as an incidental fee that I was not told about beforehand. Luckily I will get that back because I left the room immaculate. Then there was the $29 per day visitors fee.

THE STAFF AT THE SERVICE DESK WERE THE BEST.

The front desk service is aweful and the manager was absolutely no help. When you check in they tell you theyre going to put a 250 hold on your card. But they put a 250 hold on my card and then another at 333 so at check in the took 600 out of my bank and cannot even tell me when it will be refunded. Aweful experience.

We spent a week at La Quinta. Everyone was so helpful with any questions we had.

Service: 1) Hotel staff said they changed our room from 2 bed to king suite because we checked in at 2am Wed morning instead of our scheduled Tues 3pm checkin. Not happy until they said there was no extra charge. The room was very nice and comfortable. 2) The lock at top of door was broken/not usuable. 3) I had made an addt'l reservation for 3/15 - 3/16, but had to cancel. In talking with and requesting a cancellation receipt from 2 different desk staff, they couldn't give me the receipt to confirm the cancellation. We did talk with the mgr, Darvonn. 4) The second day, we asked for clean towels and was told they would be delivered. They were not! Had to ask again and pick them up ourselves. 5) When we left at 4am on 3/15, there was no one at the desk to discuss any issues, take our keys, or provide a receipt to confirm our $414 room cost. Interaction with desk staff was chaotic.

We loved everything about our stay. The location is amazing. Walking distance from Canal St., Bourbon St. & the Cesar's Casino. Rooms super clean, quiet & spacious! Staff is extremely friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Checking in took 45 min. Because they had only one employee at the desk doing something for a customer and she didn't care about others in line she said we have no patience because we told her to speed up or call the manager to help you .

Every member of the staff that we interacted with was so rude, the breakfast was literally just waffles and sausage, and our room was robbed while we were out. Hidden fees when checking in. I will never stay at this hotel again, let alone a La Quita all together.

The hotel hit me with a new charge called a “destination charge”. Their parking garage was expensive and very dangerous. There were always lines of people at the front desk with only one person working. When I checked out there were two long lines and no one at the desk. After waiting 10 minutes I just left my keys under one of the keyboards and walked out. I will never stay here again.

The hotel is convenient for walking to the French Quarters and many restaurants. Housekeeping services did not exist until check out. The continental breakfast was extremely limited. Off site parking was the only availability which was $50/day. The bar wasn't open to redeem complimentary drinks due to it not being open the day prior.

We had to come downstairs and ask repeatedly for additional wash towels, soap, etc. The refrigerator was leaking water our entire stay, and no one ever came to repair it during our stay.
The lobby area smelted like marijuana inside and out.

Mardi Gras weekend getaway trip! We booked our stay at La Quinta in New Orleans because of its vicinity to Burboun street which was great but the hotel itself lacked a lot! Also, they charged a resort fee of over $25 per day and offer no resort amenities! We were there for 3 days and had to ask for the maids to clean our room and give us a clean set of towels but they never did! Not once in 3 days did they reset the room. I know it was a busy weekend but we expected a minimum of services for what we paid and having to have paid a “resort fee”. Not a good value for your money in our opinion. The hotel has potential due to its location but the staff and services are lacking.

I did not stay there because the price that was told over the reservation prior to going was not the same that the desk clerk told me she said that u had to give a deposit of $250.00 dollars per night for two nights and that it took 45 days to reimburse the deposit I did not stay there this is insane because I should not have to put a deposit for such an amount and the lady told me that it was starting that day the deposit increased I will never reserve again in this hotel the worst ever it looked dirty outside messy it smelled terrible inside and the worst customer service that lady should be fired no respect for travelers never will I stay there I went couple of miles to a better hotel and was pleased with the other place

The automatic locks on my first room didn't work and they had to move into another room which the key cards worked but as soon as I left unit the door would not lock. They then reset the keys so I could get in but everytime you left the room the locks would not lock the door. Pretty much every time the door locks were used they wouldn't worked. I actually I spent the night without the locks working and I had to put the top chain lock on the door for it to close.
The breakfast was pretty bad. Was almost not even work having it. Just hard boiled eggs, sausage patty and white bread.

This was a probably the worst hotel experience ever. We arrived to only one person checking people in and it took 90 min of standing in line to get our room keys. She has no help and took a long time. With hotels.com, my check in only took 4 min. We never received the extra blanket we asked for and found a roach in the bathroom. The room stayed warm and the air conditioning didn’t seem to help. The breakfast bar was sub par and mainly used plastic/styrofoam. I will never stay here again.

We always enjoy La Quinta! The service is great! Breakfast is delicious and the breakfast staff is patient and kind and that is no easy task in the Big Easy! The beds are a dream! My God I slept so well! The location is so convenient, just a few steps away from the Quarter! Parking is convenient and I felt my car was safe as we never used it! Just an overall awesome experience this trip and every trip!
