The hotel is what you would expect from an embassy suites. My only complaint is that the spa was not functional.

We love staying at The Embassy, however we were not satisfied with our recent stay. We booked a room with double beds and they gave us a room with a King. The said that their computer overbooked the rooms.

The location is the main pull of this hotel, but the staff and amenities are what make the stay worthwhile. The evening reception is little more than chips and raw veg, so don't expect the big spread of food they had years ago. Overall it was a pleasant stay for one night.

Property is ready for some updates but we are always comfortable when we stay at the embassy.

Freezing could not enjoy happy hour or breakfast and no break on cost I realize remodel is going on but was terrible The people working were great very helpful and polite Room was so so can’t wait for remodel it needs it It needs charging places

They are remodeling- which is good, the furniture in the suites was very worn, chairs were not sturdy nor couch and it was very uncomfortable, we generally love Embassy glad they are updating

This hotel opened in 2005. And I started staying there that year. It was amazing! 18 years later they haven't updated a thing as far as furnishings. They updated the manager's reception by limiting your drinks. This property has started an update. About 8 years late. Its ridiculous that they couldn't at least put in new device friendly lamps because the rooms are not set up for today's electronics. I loved this hotel. I don't know that I'll ever go back. These updates were promised two years ago. And they are just getting them started. Ridiculous!

We LOVE this place! We stay here for our annual Christmas shopping trip. The breakfast is the best ive ever had in a hotel and the area is fantastic for walking around. If i could recommend one thing about the amenities in the room. With all of the electronic gadgets we have now USB outlets would be a huge help. We had to change up a few of our charging ports but a minor inconvenience. Otherwise its a 5 star stay like always. Thanks!

The valet parking is such a mess it backs up onto the street. Avoid it if you can as there is a garage for half the price right across the street. Total chaos trying to get in.
The rooms don't have plugs or ports by the nightstand. Very odd. And the TV's are a good 8-10 years old.
Service was very good and location is perfect for UNL.

We really like the free drinks at happy hour and the amazing breakfast. The only negative was that our room was freezing. Didn’t matter what the thermostat said. The window was so drafty we were cold the whole time in the back room. The front room with the sofa was fine so it was definitely because of the window.

Great location and facilities. If you stay here on a home football weekend, expect to stand in breakfast buffet line for a very long time. Facility sells tickets to public for a pep rally and guests do not have priority. I stood in line for 40 minutes and moved 15 feet and never reached the buffet.

very convenient being down town. front desk help very helpful and nice. was very under staffed for the bar and breakfast help. security officers were very rude.

My husband and I stayed one night here with 4 of our kids.. we wish we could have stayed longer! It was a great hotel experience. Definitely family friendly. The kids loved the atrium area, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was absolutely fabulous, and our room was spacious and clean. The rooms are a little out-dated, but it looks like they have plans to renovate them soon. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use the pool and hot tub, but they looked very nice. The surrounding area is also great.. we used the hotel’s valet parking service and then were able to walk to everywhere we needed, which was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again next time we travel to Lincoln.

The atrium crew is amazing! Kind, hard working, friendly. Nice bar staff at the reception. And the floor crew (thankfully) policed the crowded gameday buffet to ensure the right guests were fed as quickly as possible. And then the gals cleaned that whole food area like they were being watched! :)

The hotel desperately needs a renovation. The fan didn’t work in the bathroom so our room stayed humid and warm despite turning the AC to 65. The walls were visibly dirty as were the edges of the carpet. We had to use the sofa bed and it was horrible. The mattress was flimsy and had no cover in it.
The main area of the hotel was nice but the pool and rooms need a renovation.
