Blind didn’t work, bed was squeaky. They moved me to another room with a blind that worked and another squeaky bed. Staff was very accommodating but overall not a great experience

The stay and location were good. Lots of amenities within walking distance. Washroom needed updating and it was small, apartment size. Breakfast was usual, nothing exciting. No fruits at breakfast.

Room was OK. Recently renovated. Light switch on entry did not work. Bed frame is metal and a bit noisy. Friendly staff at reception. Hot water takes a few minutes to warm up.

it was nice and centrally located. only bad thing and wasnt that bad was took a while for the hot water to come but when it did it was plenty hot. i would definately stay again

The room was newly renovated except the bathtub. I assume that will also be renovated. There was a copper fitting and a little debris from installing the toilet still on the floor. I am sure once all the renovations in the building are completed that it will be a wonderful place to stay. Also the blinds with the scenery pictures are a really nice touch.

This hotel is under renovation. The first room I got key for only had one bed made and painters outside of the room. The 2nd room did not have blackout curtains (sheets only), no TV remote (the TV was in when we got there). Went to take a shower the next morning and the water wouldn’t turn off, tub was filling quickly. After a lot of effort, finally got the water turned off. Breakfast…coffee was cool and the food was questionable.

We stayed there a few nights. The walls are thin and we could hear the neighbors. The toilet would go forward with a loud noise every time you sat down. It wasn’t set straight in the floor. I didn’t care for their breakfast. The staff are very nice though. And the beds were comfortable. It was OK but we decided to go to a motel instead and this is very nice.

This hotel was heavily scented the second we walked in. Staff were very pleasant and the property was newly renovated, however big things like bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, tub was painted and already chipping and stains on the ceiling. Wasn't fully what we were hoping for, but slept well.

Hotel is in mid-change. Room/Lobby looks nice. Room door needed to be lifted to close. Elevator was glitchy. A/C had constant fan noise. TV is only Roku channels. Breakfast was non-existant. Staff however was very nice and waived change fee when plans changed. Hopefully it gets better.

These people are apparently new to the hospitality industry and are running on a shoestring. Stayed 4 days and room was not cleaned and towels were not changed out. Breakfast only on for 2 hours and without even the bare essentials. Ran out of coffee 2 days in a row. They charge 5 star rates and and provide 1 star service. It’s a Days Inn. That explains a lot.

We were warmly greeted and our room had been newly renovated and was clean. However, the bathroom had not been renovated. There were three different floorings meeting at the bathroom door. Old fixtures in the tub that had been poorly painted. The new tub surround was placed over old tiles but did not go all the way to the ceiling- some exposed tiles were painted some weren’t. Showering was an adventure- scolding hot one minute then ice cold the next. Eventually hot just quit. Check out was 11:00 and about 9:30am a male employee of the hotel just unlocked out door and walked in. No knock, just walked in. No coffee in room but breakfast was all gone by 8:00am. They are obviously doing extensive renovations to update and modernize but maybe they shouldn’t rent out rooms that aren’t quite ready. We wish them well and hope with a bit of guidance and learning they are able to make a go of it.

I understand as a Proffesional Cleaner myself your time is limited .Housekeeping please please spot check your walls .And most importantly clean your windows. Friendly accomadating staff we had a couple of glitches the staff stepped up quickly and efficiently.I understand renovations is in the works in November i can't wait to see the end result.Good luck in the future.My roommate and i like to thank Causeway for the STAY...

This hotel is rated 2.0, a motel, which is in line with the its rating and expectation. Furnitures shows normal wear and tear. Though there were hairs and molds built up on the bathtub, which looked gross. Carpet is cleaner than expected. Common area is clean. Very quiet. The staff practiced active listening, had positive attitude, was responsive, and honored his words with consistency in what he said and his actions. If you are looking for a motel in Summerside, this can be a choice, if cleanliness is not your top priority but price and service attitude is. Please note that lodging on Prince Edwards Island is relatively higher than that of mainland Canada.

We feel a weird vibe when we arrived. After our check in, we do some research and find that some people lives in the hotel since 4 years. It smell cigarettes, we didn’t feel very safe and doors are very noisy.

Smells..bad..looks...worse...room was dark bed was terrible. ..staff was nice and friendly...people smoked inside...shower water pressure was awesome...weird people hang out at night. Guy run his diesel truck in the parkin lot near our window for what seem an hour of toxic fumes

This hotel should not be recommended by any app at the moment it in terrible shape smells needs a lot of work , creepy beds are terrible furniture broken and fixed with duct tape stay away!

Best: convenient to activities. Great parking. Fair: comfort. Not outstanding but adequate. Not so good: in need of repairs, upkeep. No coffee, tea, etc Bad: one ice machine, in the basement, water on the floor, nasty smell. AC did not work, was moved to a different room.

The place has seen better days. Most of the rooms were rented to long term people. Not people on vacation. The ads say they have a pool. Nope. The staff didnt understand my reservation from Expedia. Only charged us for one night, we reserved for 2. After explaining this to the front clerk he had to take out a calculator to figure out my balance. The balance was on the page right in front of him. The carpet in the room looked like there was rust all over it...i hope it was rust. The hallway smelled so bad of cigarette smoke i wasn't able to go out in the hall, I used the sliding door. $130.00 a night, they should of paid us. People were actually living there. I think they only rent a couple rooms to vacationers the rest are people living there full time. Very disappointed.

The young lady who registered us was very pleasant and helpful ,The new owner we also met as well and seems very nice and friendly The Hotel was very central to the waterfront which was very enjoyable ,The rooms needs work though but werent too bad ..& The non smoking area wasnt far enough away outside , the smoke was still lingering into the stairway ... we were told it will be renovated in the near future We wish them well .
