This is a beautiful property with direct access to the beach although it’s quite a trek down a large flight of steps. Beautifully manicure gardens though. Breakfast was amazing also. The one thing that I found surprising is that the walls and ceilings seem a little bit thin. We could hear footsteps and other noise from the room above us very clearly.

An incredibly special hotel that commands a beautiful location overlooking the town of Santa Margharita Ligure. The grounds are spectacular and the staff could not had been more helpful or welcoming. Breakfast on the wrap around terrace admiring the spectacular views was an absolute pleasure. If you like traditional elegant hotels, this is a must.

Overall a wonderful stay. Great location, beautiful views, and the feel of a grand old hotel. With that comes the a bit more noise than usual and some challenges getting the room comfortably cool. The room was spacious but missed warmth from artwork and well considered furniture. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful overall with one notable miss - at the pool or ocean, we experienced long waits and forgotten requests.
