The only issue I encounter was the plunge pool we had in the room. It always seemed dirty. The fact that there is a beach in front of the hotel is nice but not useful, the beach is not good to swim in specially when you have kids so the premium paid for that is not worth it. Even though I did not have a inclusive package I paid for a luxury room with plunge pool, it did not feel like I was noticed much, restaurant staff did not really paid attention to us. On the other hand the valet parking was amazing

The property is beautiful! The staff (Liz, Juanita, Juvenal, Reynaldo, Manuel) went above and beyond. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve had. The specialty maridaje dinner by Chef Manuel was outstanding! The rooms were done daily very quickly and left spotless! Even though the rooms and baths were very spacious, they need urgent upgrading. The features in the shower and sinks were rusty and parts of the floor need recaulking. Other than that, the location, architecture, landscape, pool, beach, specially the staff of the resort is amazing! The city center is only 10 min from hotel. It’s a very safe cute little town. If we return to Huatulco we will probably stay there again.

Loved our unit that had a seaview with a pool. There were barely any people at the end of June, so we pretty much had the beach to ourselves most of the time, however, the riptide was so strong that we couldn’t swim properly at sea. But there was a lifeguard who was very friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds were beautiful and fast with a shallow swimming pool. We liked our very spacious room, the washroom could use a little upgrade in terms of the style. The only negative part about the resort is that you need to take a 10min taxi to the nearest town to check out other restaurants if you want to avoid overpriced food at the hotel. Or you can walk 10mins to some restaurants outside the hotel, best for brunch or breakfast restaurants. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.
