The room and hotel were lovely. Brian at the front desk was wonderful! When he found out we were there to see the battlefield and cemetery, he gave us a room that faced it. Unfortunately, it was so foggy the next morning, we could not see anything out the window!! But he did a great job anyway!

People there were friendly from the check-in to the young ladies taking care of cleaning. Breakfast was great and the hostess there kept everything fully stocked. A great experience!

Overall property is good. We had noisy neighbors and the walls are thin. The “free” breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Limited choices, no bacon, rubber eggs, etc

Hotel is very nice. Leaning very nice. Front desk, clean yourself up. Rooms are very nice. Beds were not the up to the quality of the hotel. And last, not getting a receipt for the extra 22$ and change for no apparent reason is BULLSH*T!!!! Cheaper holtels with same quality in town. Dissatisfied for a new hotel.

After staying one night at another very pretentious hotel in Gettysburg we moved to this one and were so much happier, it was cheaper and was right in the middle of all the action. Felt safe walking around at night, great restaurants close by, etc... Wish we had stayed here the first night. The lady at the check in counter was fantastic, so friendly and informative. We would definitely stay here again. And breakfast was excellent in a lovely room with a view.

Property location was great with lots of food options in the area and everything is within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a great way to start the day with many options. Only downside was you could hear everything going on outside the room while in the room, including conversations that people were having at normal volume.

The hotel staff was nice, and the rooms were clean. However, our room was located on the first floor by the exit door for the stairs and the door slammed closed every time someone used the exit. Whenever I book a room through Expedia or one of its competitors, I get a subpar room that is either by the elevator, exit door, or the least desirable location. The tradeoff on the good price is the room locations. It seems like by purchasing a discounted room, the location and service are discounted to.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful, clean environment. Very comfortable furniture in the room, with ample kitchen space, including cabinets, microwave and fridge. Location is ideal for walking to the battlefield areas.

Stay was great. Room was pretty clean but I don’t believe they had vacuumed the floors. There were hairs on bathroom floor which is gross but overall, good!!

We were pleased the property was conveniently located in relation to the Gettysburg National Park visitor centre and the military park. Our room and the building was well maintained and offered several amenities that made our stay very pleasant. Front desk staff were very friendly and offered excellent advice respecting nearby dining and travel routes to our next destination.

Booked based on the good reviews. We have been on an extended driving trip, having stayed at a variety of hotels. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed. The place is absolutely spotless. Smells good without being perfumey. Good little breakfast. I can't complement enough.

This hotel has it all! There’s a beautiful view of the battlefield from the pool area and it’s within walking distance. There’s shops and restaurants also within walking distance. There breakfast was fresh and abundant and served with a smile. The workers were so very pleasant and nice. The parking was free and easy to access.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was clean and updated, which are always my top concerns when I am booking. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The vote is located right across from the National Cemetary so it is a short 5 minute drive to the Gettysburg Visitors Center or even a brief walk if you’re willing. It’s at the edge of downtown historic Gettysburg but for my kids and I it wasn’t a difficult walk into town and we enjoyed seeing the sites and shops along the way. My daughter (9) even commented that she’d love to stay at that hotel if we go back there. Everyone was friendly and breakfast was a bonus!

Location is good. Disappointed that the fitness room is closed at 10pm. The room was comfortable, however walls were quite thin and noise traveled. Front desk staff in the evening was unprofessional, loudly swearing while on a personal call. The daytime front desk staff were more professional.

The pros - good location, 15 minute walk to downtown. Clean rooms. Breakfast was nice but such a bad layout that it was so crowded by waffle and pancake station. Chairs/tables packed in, barely room to move. I've been to other Best Westerns with better breakfast. Pool is ok, very basic. Wish there was a hot tub. There is space for one. We were traveling with kids and the pool was pretty lackluster. Not that many options for hotels with pools in Gettysburg though.
