The family arrived and my husband was charged for the pre-paid room. He was refunded after he pointed out that it was pre-paid. There were someone elses clothes and personal items in the bathroom, which he took to the front desk. The room reeked of stale smoke. (We booked non-smoking) The entire place was under some kind of shoddy renovation. The entry door had a 1" gap along the top edge. The walls were very thin and the entire place was very noisy. The beds were not good. The family actually ended up sleeping in their clothes because overall, it was so bad.

The room was so filthy that we didn’t stay there. They were going to give us clean sheets but the rest of the room was filthy too. No vacuuming because there was nail on the carpet. Not even table or microwave wasn’t wiped down. Had to leave and the hotel said that we get our full refund from you.

The hotel was one of the seediest hotels I ever stayed at. There were drug dealers, pimps and hookers in the parking lot.

There was breakfast no phones in the room one towel, you cant smoke on the balconies, the have rules as to when you can have guests its stupid

Reasonable price and a very comfortable bed.
There was a pervasive smell of stale cigarette smoke throughout. Room smelled stale. Cigarette burns on the tub and bedspread. (Non smoking room) couldn't figure out how to use the shower. It didn't have a diverter.

Finding a parking spot out front was difficult due to the bar next door. The smell of pot coming from the other rooms wasn't pleasant and the arguing from couples keeping me up. Other than that the stay was good.

The place is generally run down. Exterior door lock is broken. Interior door doesn’t seal properly. The single round shower faucet knob is missing so you cannot control temperature. Bath tub floor is painted and peeling. My son said that the white bed sheet smells. On the bright side. It wasn’t too noisy.

This is not a nice place. Kitchenette had no dishes, TV didnt work, scared to take of my shoes, looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed in years. Whole place smelled like cigartees and kitties. Will absolutely not be booking again.

Had gang members waving guns in the hallway threatening eachother, loud power tools in other room at 3am. Dog barking.

Gross dirty … very poor condition in the hallways in the stairwells in the rooms. It took me 25 minutes just to get front desk staff. Then when I finally got checked in, they give me the key to somebody else’s room, and I walked in when it was occupied. Barking dogs throughout the hall from the rooms. Room was dirty with crusty food on the floor and the sheets and pillows were stained and had hair in them. The room Was definitely not vacuumed. You get what you paid for. This definitely is not a super 8 quality but better then a truck.

We checked in and left, went to a different hotel. Room wasn’t clean and locks were not secure on doors. Did not feel comfortable having our kids in this area. Staff was nice enough.

Seems scary and there was a side door to another I’m that didn’t have a swing latch. Must be an adjoining room but seemed strange

Overall, 1/2 star. No TV, was told would be corrected in the morning. 2 days later, no TV - but hard to have TV when there are no connecting cables or power plug.
Advertised continental breakfast was a bag grab and go.
King bed- 2 pillows, two towels, no bath mat, no face clothes or hand towels.
Only positive, bed was comfortable.

The room was not cleaned, bathroom had paint peeling off tge tub, shower head was falling off, and there were dirty or blood stains on the pillows. When asked to have the room cleaned they said it would be extra.

This place was so dirty! Cloths left in the dresser, oil all over the cook top, mirrors not cleaned, hand and foot marks all over the walls. The walls were so thin you can hear everyone around you, locks defective, staff missing from front desk. I can go on and on. If you pick up a hooker and want to take then there for a few hours this is the place to go. When we told the locals we were staying here they told us it’s one of the worst in Red deer. Do your self a favor and don’t stay here.

This was an awful place!!! Reservation changed 2 hours before arrival.(Booked 5 months in advance) NOT a suitable change - had to buy 2 air mattress' to stay. Kitchen lacked kitchenwares - 1 pot, 1 spoon, 1 fork, etc. Breakfast - brown bag apple, muffin and juice. Not acceptable. Gym - Underconstruction. 2 Towels - no hand or kitchen towels.The room was not clean enough by hotel standards. Dirty beds, Dirty Shower. With all this wrong a discount would have been nice. Or at least an apology for their awful conditions. Will never stay in a Super 8 again. I am so disappointed.

The hotel room was old and dirty, bed linen and towels were old and had holes. Pillows were old and not comfortable. Bathroom dirty. Dirty fan and tile around the sink. Carpet baseboard falling off. I don’t need a fancy room but a clean room is a must. Presentation and cleanliness is a good experience which I did not have.

They steam cleaned the carpets outside our room until almost 10pm. Very noisy. Not much sound barrier between rooms. No breakfast. Room was in terrible condition- bathtub had some sort of stained “sticker” on floor of tub. Stains all the way around. Would not stay here again

My room smelled really bad, I left after one night after paying for 2 nights. There was a 'red light' on the balcony of the room above mine, which raises questions about what it was being used for. Although it was a low price, I'd stay away from this place if you can afford to stay somewhere nicer.

A very disappointing experience. Bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable, tub was stained and dirty, carpet was filthy with bottle caps on the floor from previous guests, tv didn’t work. No refund so we toughed it out.

Dirty Bathroom, smelly hallways could hardly breathe, the room was supposed to be non smoking but stung cigarette, patio door could not lock, Bugs flying in the room. Pictures of rooms posted online are outdated and didn’t reflect the current condition of the facility. Overall extremely bad.

Adequate, but we found a dirty sock behind the door, maids must have missed it. No tissue in room, TV would not work. Our patio door was WIDE OPEN when we entered our room. Even the screen door was open. Good thing we were on the 2nd floor. "Continental Breakfast" was kind of a joke. A box of juice, a muffin, and an apple in a bag they hand you. Would be better if they just set these things out and let people help themselves. They have the room for this! Hallway carpets could use a VERY GOOD CLEANING! Filthy!
Bed was very comfortable, AC was perfect. Good enough for a night.

The floors in the hallways were very dirty and had a putrid smell, room had alot of damage to the walls. Door wouldn't shut properly, the tub and sink had more hair than i have ever seen in a hotel.

Absolute terrible hotel! Will never stay here again, I got the pet room for me and my dog and within 2 minutes of entering the room my dog was choking on chicken wing bones and other food left over from previous guests. I got the employee and all he did was return the pet fee. Room was dirty and smelt terrible and area was very trashy!
