The best thing about the apartment is definitely its location. It’s close to plenty of bus stops, making it easy to get anywhere in the city, while the neighborhood itself is perfect for exploring the streets of Genoa. There are several cafés, shops, small markets, and other local amenities nearby. Just across from the apartment, there’s also an elevator that takes you to an amazing viewpoint with beautiful views over the city.
The host is very friendly, kind, and helpful.
The apartment is located in a beautiful, historical building. It was quite spacious, with plenty of room for two people. The kitchen is also well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Our main issue was the heat. The building gets incredibly warm in summer, and the apartment can feel very stuffy. We couldn’t really open the windows to cool it down because of the street noise. With the windows closed, it was quiet, but the apartment remained very warm. There were two fans, and we needed to use both to sleep comfortably.
Unfortunately, the apartment also didn’t feel as clean as we had expected. The floor felt a bit dusty and sticky, and there was also some dust on things like the fans.
Overall, while the location and host were great, the heat and cleanliness made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped.
