For the most part, it was a good stay. The breakfast was not very good so went elsewhere the second morning. The only major complaint I have is that the bed was horrible. It felt like we were laying on concrete.

The stay was nice and the hotel is nice but please get more rooms on the first floor for those who are unable to use the elevator and walk the stairs. Keep up the good work

The room we got smelled like smoke, the linens were dirty with stains, towels were yellowing and had big stains on them, outside had cigarette butts all over and smelled bad

Viny was such a helpful person. I stayed 7 nights alone because my mom was hospitalized 3 hours from my home. I felt safe entering and leaving the hotel. They were constantly cleaning. The room was clean and well kept. Jackson is a large place, but i felt secure in my"home away from home". Every time i returned they asked about my mom. They felt like family in my time of need. I checked out because my mom passed. I will recommend that hotel to anybody needed a room.

We found the breakfast very good and the front porch was so inviting it almost felt like home. The room was very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely make a return visit.

When I arrived I was a bit concerned due to the fact that the lodge is under construction however, once I entered into our room I found it to be very acceptable for the occasion. I am a Mississippi State certified fire investigator, fire inspector, fire instructor adjunct, retired fire chief retired fire coordinator, retired fire consultant and a 20-year retired combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I have stayed at this particular hotel several times this is by far the best condition I have ever witnessed. I checked fire extinguishers fire sprinklers and overall safety and I must admit for the price this is a four and a half star facility that I would strongly recommend at this time.

The room was clean, but the ac was off when I arrived and the time was hot. The ac did cool the room off no problem. They should at least keep it on at a higher temp.

I would not recommend staying here. It is very rundown and the bed was awful. Also, Some folks just have different standards of “clean”. There was a smell in the entire place so much that I’ve had to leave the bags I took inside the place outside to air out. Definitely look elsewhere for your stay in this area.

Overall, the stay was fine. While there could be some updates done with the hotel, it serves our purposes for a 2-night stay at a fairly inexpensive cost. It is is a nice area with shopping and restaurants in the area. Somehow, our room was missed by Housekeeping so it was not cleaned for the 2nd night. Also, the night manager did not have a key for the towels closet so we could not get new towels for the 2nd night. The room was clean, and the bed was good.

The stay was good and staff very nice. The complaint would be limited towels and bath rags; it was expected to reuse them. I don’t reuse them at home so won’t do it at a hotel. Also the mattress was worn…could feel the springs when lying down. Other than that the room was nice.

So convenient for Pelican Cove,Shuckers,or Shaggy’s which are fun Al fresco dining locations. Homey and clean and a lavish breakfast. That’s what I like.
