Overall a great Honeymoon! The Lomas Shuttle team did a great job, although they told us we were going straight to our resort, but made a stop at another resort first to drop off other passengers. Check-In was decent, but it felt more like a Hotel Check-in, not a Resort Check-in. After checking in, we were given a ride to our room and a quick run down of the property on the way. We had no idea where to eat that first evening so we ended up catching a ride to the buffet at Generations, the family resort, which is a ways away from where we are staying. The buffet was.. acceptable. We weren't very informed of what activities were happening that evening, so we ended up just having an evening in. We are early risers, so the next morning we found breakfast, which was great. The concierge was the next stop. They did a good job at helping up with reservations, but dinner reservations and excursion reservations are done at 2 different places and that was annoying especially with the size of the resort. They will try to convince you to do the Members tour, which was very informative, but we were told it would take 1 hour and it took 2, we ended up giving them a hard stop. Our favorite food places were the Thai place and the Italian place. We also did Fuentes and had a candlelight dinner on the beach. Both were great experiences. Entertainment was part of the experience, but not the reason you go there. Check out was smooth, but they will try to sell you again. As stated, overall great!

The sargassum was terrible. The beach in pictures for royale are not the beach that is there. They just push to sell you a timeshare. Cater to members over non members. Property needs some maintenance which they seem to be doing some while we were there.
