The staff was welcoming and friendly as usual. The room was always clean. The atmosphere was lively, the food was amazing. I've stayed at this resort several times but this was not my favorite room. The view from my room was impeded by a big tree. Overall we had an amazing time.

After staying at a 3 star resort just down the beach the first week, Traveller’s was a huge improvement. Although our room was small it was very clean, had a big bathroom and newer furnishings. The pool area was lovely with a swim up bar (although I never saw anyone working there). The beach in front of the hotel was small but I never had difficulty finding a spot. My only complaint would be to provide hand towels in the bathroom and another towel rack as there was no where accessible to set your towels when showering. I would totally recommend this place.

I enjoyed my stay at Travellers. It was the perfect size unlike some of the huge resorts. The resturant staff could be more attentive, but the food is good. The resturant also overlooks the beach with great views. The room could be brighter, there was only a single window in our superior room and the bathroom door was poorly designed likey due to limited space. The hotel is located towards the bottom of the strip which is handy if you want to walk into town which was about a 15 minute walk. There are limited services eg - no currency exchange or ATM so be prepared to head into town for things like that. I enjoyed my stay, the grounds were nice, everywhere was clean and they spray for mosquitos.

The resort was beautiful, but old. Some "fixes" really made it show it's age. We were a large group & for the most part they were really good about accommodating us. There was a few hiccups for everyone, but all were resolved .

Travellers was such a delight to stay at. The property grounds and room were clean and well taken care of. The bed was very comfortable with quality linens and good towels and toiletries in the bathroom. We were also so pleased with the restaurant on site that served delicious meals at a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this place as a place to stay at in Negril and as frequent travellers to Jamaica, we look forward to staying here again!

We came down, party of 10, friends and family. Travellers was very accommodating at the restaurant and beach allowing us to sit together! Beautifully landscaped and maintained resort with great food!

What we liked- lovely small hotel, amazing food, beautiful pool and great for swimming laps, friendly nice staff, great beds & bathrooms, towels, and many American TV channels. What we didn't like- loud local music at dinner that starts at 7pm, so if you eat early, you can avoid it.

The property is quite nice and clean. Unfortunately I was given the worse room in the building overlooking the parking lot and noisy road. They were unable to move me to another they were all booked up. They did not offer anything to compensate me for the less than satisfactory room. This is the fourth time I’ve stayed there. I made the mistake of not asking for a balcony room overlooking the view. The food was not as good as it was last year.

Well kept grounds. Like staying at a private estate. Restaurant is good if not the quickest. Beach area is kind of compact but it's ok. Pool is nice with swimup bar. Felt safe walking along the Blvd. Would stay again.

Travellers met all my basic needs. The property was clean, safe with friendly staff and spacious rooms. I have one complaint, while I was there, on several days, the kitchen ran out of some of the breakfast items (especially the Jamaican breakfast) way before breakfast ends & that was very disappointing. Besides that, everything was good. I will be back in the future.

The only place I can bring myself to stay when I visit Negril. I am sure there are other hotels that are just as nice, maybe even better but Travellers feels like home and I can’t wait to return.

Great hotel and location. Hotel is clean with plenty of amenities for all age groups. The grounds are exceptional and everything is very clean. The room was clean and smelt very nice as some other hotels we have stayed in the room has had a musty smell. Staff are amazing in all sectors. We have stayed on many appartments and hotels along the 7 mile and this is ranked as one of our best experiences.

Property was nice. Beach are was smaller than at other hotels. Rooms were decent. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. Most employees were great, however, there were some that could use some customer service training.

Clean, comfortable straight to the point accomodation. Its quiet, and the service was great. The height of the busy seqson did not phase them. My 1 complaint, and it isnt much anyone can do, is or was the masquitos....I got bit up quite alot while in my room. Other than that, Travellers is a great spot with good food, service, and its close to town in Negril..

Great small resort in a convenient location, but you'll probably want a car. The resort is *not* all inclusive (meals, including breakfast, and drinks must be paid for) but they have a spacious pool, a nice little section of beach, and a bar-restaurant between the two, so it works well. Between this and the lobby, a one-story row of rooms faces a two-story row of rooms across a quiet courtyard; it's a nice design. The facilities are clean and well maintained, the food is good and the staff is friendly.

The staff is always ready to help with anything.From the cleaning staff, to the owners. I have never had better service in Jamaica. They do what they say. I felt cared for ...just like family. Soon come back...as they say here. Fabulous!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and wished we hadn't. We picked here knowing it was a Jamaican family run business but now we wished we had stayed in a chain restaurant. Here's our summary: 1. Despite the hotel knowing this was for our honeymoon, they didn't make it special in the slighest. No "congratulations" on check in, no special towel display as photographed. Nothing. 2. The reception staff in general were miserable. Never smiled. Unwelcoming. Didn't even bother asking how stay was after. The only unfriendly and miserable people we met in Jamaica. Everyone else was so lovely- locals, taxi drivers etc. Just not the reception staff at TBR. They also lied about upgrading our room for our 1st night - we paid for the upgraded as we extended our stay due to flight changes. 3. Despite saying they would arrange a taxi to collect us on arrival, when whatsapping to confirm, they completely ignored us. We had to find our own transport. When arranging transport back, they completely exaggerated about our leaving time. So we had to wait around for over an hour. The reception are clueless. 4. Construction work going on all day every day - there was no warning when booking. Only found out by note on arrival. Sleeping and relaxing during the day is hard for a pregnant woman who needs to sleep throughout the day. It was so noisy. 5. The corridors stank of cat poo and wee constantly (see photo). 6. Padi learners in the only swimming pool - 7 at a time 7. Often no hot water

Restaurant was good but not great. Prices were high for Jamaica. We only stayed 1 late night so did get to really experience the property. The bar was expensive and closed at 11pm. Pool was closed. Everything closed at 11pm. Not our ideal situation. Room price was good but once you added the food and drink prices it was that good. Room hot water didnt work until service fixed something. This was an annoyance but was fixed. Overall not bad but definately not great.

Fell on the property due to water drain cover that was not secured. Management did not follow up with me after I fell and hit my head hard on concrete causing a concussion. I had to go to customer relations even after their own employee reported the he witnessed. I also witnessed the previous night a guest falling in during area due to faulty flooring.

I definitely got value for money spent staying at Travellers Beach Resort. The room itself was spacious enough and clean. The entire hotel grounds was well maintained and clean with manicured lawn and hedges. Didn't use the pool much but it looked nice. The gym was well equipped for a hotel gym and was very clean. Direct access to the best beach in Jamaica is a major plus. The restaurant is convenient but the food can be improved on a bit, breakfast was good but the dinner was only ok
