The staff was very accommodating and friendly:) we stayed at the post vista part by the train station, it was very charming

Very basic hotel, but with an amazing array of shower options! Was very cold at first - the only radiator seemed to be in the bathroom or via one vent in the adjoining wall.
Right on the main road by a petrol station, but not noisy and the bed was comfortable.
It would be fab in summer. And lots of bird life in the pretty back garden by the river.
