A little bit outside the centre of Pau but given the late booking and the fact the city was full of people doing the Etape du Tour I was very happy with the price and quality of hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Most spoke some english. The restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and served vey enjoyable food. The continental breakfast consisted of a variety of good quality foods. Hams, cheeses, boiled eggs, yoghurts, juices,fresh and dried fruit,cereals, french bread, croissants, coffee etc. The room was on the small side but had everything necessary for a comfortable stay including wi-fi. The bathroom fittings were new and everything worked well. The hotel is situated vey close to an out of town shopping complex with a comprehensive range of outlets. There is also a car hire firm nearby. The hotel restaurant is not open for lunch or evening meals on the weekend except by prior arrangement.
