We arrive 01:30 am driving from a late flight from Boston and requested late checkout not for me for my 2 little kids and a baby and they are so tired that was expecting to have late checkout next morning but they said no because they were sold out next day, come on could not make an exception for my family?

Our stay was fine. It was a well maintained hotel with clean, spacious rooms and a nice breakfast. It is in a good location. My wife had read a number of negative reviews prior to our stay, none of which turned out to be true, thankfully.

The woman who checked us in was very friendly and nice and was very outgoing. She made us feel very welcomed. Beds were comfortable. Pillows comfortable also. Room was clean.

The pool and hot tub where out of order. This was the main reason we booked this hotel. They told us the pool and hot tub were down until June. Why are they still advertising it as working? Very disappointed, was expecting to soak after a long day of skiing.

Water leaked like a waterfall from the ceiling, completely drenching the pull out couch. The pool was also closed for renovations, no conditioner in the the shower and the tub was brown with dirt I had to clean off.

One of the front desk staff jumped our car when the battery went dead, which was both kind and a big help! Very nice people and solid Vermonters! Oh yeah, the breakfast was solid!

Our stay was good. The room was clean. The only objection is the height of the mattress. For your “older” guests, climbing up onto that high mattress with “old” knees is painful. Unfortunately, it seems all hotels use the same type of mattress, so we are rolling into bed. Otherwise, our stay was great, from check-in to breakfast. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

We picked this hotel because it had a hot tub. Even paid more than I would have. We get there to find out the pool and hot tub were not available under construction.

We were not told that there is a homeless shelter right next door. We would not have stayed there if we knew. We ended up going to Bennington. The charge is under dispute, but I highly doubt anything will get done Expedia We did NOT stay here, and so should NOT have to pay. Brattleboro is NOT a safe area, you are being advised of this if you read it.

Came for one night and it was close to all the places we wanted to see- the Creamery Bridge, Grafton cheese Company, Madame Sherri park, and Green River Covered Bridge. Jolene was wonderful at the Hotel.

There was no shower gel - I was already in the shower and had to wash with shampoo!!!The hair dryer was really poor(hardly any power)even on high-it worked but needs to be replaced

First arrival there were homeless people sleeping on the grass and we couldn’t check I. Till after 4 pm. We arrived at the room and the fridge was flooded and my food that I put in it got ruined. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling and the doors sledges are filthy! There was no food for the breakfast at 8:55 and it took 30 minutes to bring food out the lines were so backed up and the coffee also ran out while we were waiting. Staff could care less when approached. Oh yes and the pool which is the reason we came here is not in service.

Only downside, and it seems to be a common lament about most hotels, is the clunking air conditioning unit. It clunks when it comes on, clunks while it’s running, and clunks when it shuts off. We had to finally turn it off completely to get any sleep.

I am extremely frustrated because this is the second time in lesson than six months that a booking with expedia was not completely forthcoming about the property. I purposely booked this hotel because they had an indoor pool that my very active little boys were excited to enjoy. While the pool looked completely fine, we were told first by one staff member that the pool was broken (you could not breathe in the area) and then by another staff member that the pool was being renovated, and thus, we could not use it. This should be made much more clear by either expedia or the property itself prior to allowing someone to book or at least by the time that cancellation is no longer free. Otherwise, the conditions were fair, normal wear and tear for a hotel of that standard. I was just frustrated right off the bat about the situation with the pool.

We thought the place was fairly clean and quiet. Breakfast is a 4 out of 5. The pool is still closed and a sign states that is in renovations with an undetermined date of opening…even though it looks perfectly fine (hot tub was bubbling away this am) Bummed. Expedia should require them to have that explained before booking. I didn’t feel safe with the little fence around the parking lot…and the hotel that used to be next door is over run with homeless people, trashed cars and a lot of cardboard. I would not book again do to safety and no pool.

Brattleboro is a great little town with lots of shops, restaurants, and things to enjoy/see/do! Highly recommend visiting. People are very friendly!!

The area the hotel is in is not typical of other Hampton Inns. The hotel next door is run down, has a lot of people loitering about and is quite loud.

I expected nicer accommodations. The hotel is clean but run down. No dining or lounge to relax in. Pool was broken and closed. Homeless hotel next door with people wandering around the parking lot. I wouldn’t let my girls go for a walk.

The stay was good enough for one night. Our room was not ready for us when we arrived to check in at 5:30 PM, and we had to wait about 30 minutes before we could get into the room we had reserved. The beds were comfortable, and the room temperature was adjustable.

They questioned our service dog and said we had to pay $75! I have a handicapped tag from the State of California. Dog is for physical assistance and emotional support.
