We stayed at Casita Maya for our first ever trip to Mexico and we had a fantastic time here! It really felt like staying with fun friends. Very relaxed energy, very beautiful space.
Daniel is the MVP! He was always joking with my husband and was very quick to help with anything we needed throughout our stay, like numerous taxis and answering many questions. He’s also an excellent chef. We loved having our meals out by the pool, in fact we ordered breakfast here every morning.
House keeping did a wonderful job for us as well! The only thing I noticed is that the tile floors were a little dusty (which I only noticed because I walk around in socks usually and the black pairs tend to show dust) but the room still felt very clean and the fresh towels and linens always smelled wonderful.
The closet is huge for a hotel, with very convenient shelves just across from the vanity.
We loved listening to birds through the adjustable louvered shutter windows and doors every morning as we woke up.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We felt well-cared-for, clean, and comfortable at this hotel.

Just a quick one night stay but it couldn’t have been more accommodating or authentic. Gentleman got me quickly in my casita, respected how tired I was and let me be. Needed to get up early to catch a taxi for a cruise and he went and got one for me with ease. Overall a lovely experience in a lovely place. Should I come to Cozumel again for real I will stay there.
