Stay only 2 hours it is under remodeling and they were beating on walls above me smelled horrible

The facility was under construction so they are at least attempting to better the experience, but when I got into the room, the space had a certain "air" of general lack of cleanliness. The carpets hadnt been cleaned beyond a vacuum in likely years, and the sheets were about 100 washes in beyond the point of being replaced. Ill just say this, if the hotel was an older Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn, I wouldnt be disappointed. But I am. La Quinta isn't a luxury experience, but you at least can provide me with a clean room where the shower doesn't have mold growing. Seriously, mold? Its not hard to kill.

This was the worse hotel I’ve ever booked before in my life. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Pool wasn’t working the entire hotel was under construction and renovations so it should be closed. Friend and her girls went to open the door to their room and when they did roaches were coming out everywhere. Front desks staff was horrible she didn’t even act like she wanted to be there.

Ended up requesting a refund and leaving after seeing roaches all over the room and hallways! Hotel was under a massive renovation and the pool was closed, none of which was disclosed. I still tried to check in and the second I opened the room door, a roach ran across my foot. My daughters went to use the restroom in the lobby and ran back because there were so many roaches crawling around the floors and walls. Absolutely disgusting!!
The front desk staff was very uninterested in being friendly or helpful at all and didn’t even greet us when we walked in. RUN AWAY from here!

The hotel was under construction. Our room was newly renovated so that was nice. One bed was very uncomfortable until we noticed there was a two inch foam packing board under the mattress. Once removed it was good. The room seemed hastily put together. The guy at the desk was really nice. There were lots of problems that were not his fault that he was dealing with. I blame management.
The breakfast service left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was from 7:00-9:00 AM. We came down at 8:35 one morning and the person was cleaning up. She’d taken the waffle mix away. We talked her into bringing out some eggs. We then went to Waffle House. Some other guests had some crazy problems. No fixtures in the bathroom for example. Horrible smells. I’m sure it will be better when the renovations are complete.

Paid far too much money for a room that is under remodeling. Breakfast was lackluster and the room key would not open the room on multiple try’s. I could have stayed at a motel 6 for less and had a better room. Truly disappointed!

Currently it appears to be under renovation. Bed was great (and i have never been able to say that about a hotel bed before). I can't really say much else good for the stay, but as it does appear to be under renovation I would still be willing to give them another try.

There’s a ton of renovation going on and they should let guests know before booking. It was hot.. the room was not up to par. The bedsheets were stained and filthy and there was a huge hole on the curtains. Horrible experience.

The first thing i saw when i entered my room was a big roach crawling across the floor. This was after i had to walk back to the front desk to get the clerk to open my door because the key didn’t work. Later i had to ask him to come back because the TV was not working. Then i found that i had to manually stop the toilet from continuing to run every time i flushed it. I had chosen this site because of the low rate they offered. I guess i should have remembered that you get what you pay for. On the brighter side, the hotel was obviously upgrading the bathrooms and making other improvements.

2 essentials in any hotel room are a clean bed and a decent shower. The shower did not work at all. I pulled the lever for shower and it came completely out of the faucet and tub wouldn't turn off completely. Rust everywhere. I went to phone to ask for different room and no dial tone. I walked downstairs and was rudely told "no". Offered to come look at it, but after long drive, the last thing I wanted was a stranger in my room banging around in the bathroom. Attitude from cleaning staff was despicable the next morning. The whole experience was mind boggling.

Only problem I had was a roach in my room. I killed it and did not see anymore afterwards. Other than that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Area around the hotel was nice, there was plenty of parking. There was dining and shopping options close to the hotel.

Horrible accommodations. The whole hotel was under construction. Room door had gaps that you could see through. Carpet was sticky and disgusting feeling. Shower had mold/mildew around in. Will never go back there again.

This hotel was terrible. The brick facade was off the front which should’ve been my sign to turn around. As soon as I went inside I noticed a sign on the front that said the hotel was short staffed, and housekeeping was “by appointment.” I checked in and went to our room. It was absolutely NOTHING like the photos that were shown during booking. The bathroom was dirty. There was mold/mildew on the walls of the shower. The area around the toilet was filthy, and the toilet set was peeling. I turned on the shower, and water came out of the shower head and the faucet, which filled up the tub. The ac/heating unit worked, but pieces on it were broken. The curtains were filthy; dirt and stains all over them. The bed sheets had stains on them, however it did appear they had been washed. The walls and doors appeared to have been painted over paint and was chipping off. Our room door did not close properly either. I was unable to stay in this room and we checked out an hour after I checked in. The employee was going to give me a refund, but said he could not because the room was booked through Expedia. So I was out the $100.

I had previously stayed at this hotel before and it was really nice...this time around it seemed like they were either going thru reconstruction or needed to do some reconstruction. There were things in the room that needed to be repaired and the front entrance was torn up as well...plus the elevator was out of order.

Terrible Roaches in the place

A "Deposit" of $50 if paid with a debit or credit card, or $100 if paid with cash. This is in addition to the price of the room, taxes, and other fees. If you pay cash, the $100 is returned when you leave. If you pay with a debit or credit card, the bank process takes 5 to 7 days to get the money back to you. This is also in addition to the perfectly acceptable and common practice to charge $250 if rules such as no smoking are violated or the room is damaged in some way. The only reason that could possibly be for this "Deposit" especially when taken from a debit or credit card is that they earn interest from that money being in their account for a few days as they hold our money hostage.

The property is well for the price you pay. The specific room we got didn't really smell like there is no smoking allowed there & the bathroom was disgusting. The water didn't even turn off completely once you turned the valve all the way it could.
