Really lovely & friendly staff, makes a huge difference. Great location. Very clean, tidy and we felt very safe. Only thing I’d recommend is better mattresses as it was uneven, sloped on one side made for not great sleeping, and the pillows are unusually very very lumpy.

Best customer service I’ve ever had . And I’m a world traveler. Small family run hotel with everything very clean and a great price and prime location. The owner John and daughter were so helpful and accomplished The hotel is only couple blocks from the tube to anywhere you want to connect and the bus across the street to Victoria station a mayor station

I thought this hotel is a Bed & Breakfast, but breakfast was not available. There was no shop or cafe nearby, either. If you like instant coffee for breakfast, it it may be a good place to stay. It is also very important to be aware that this hotel has no elevator.

Great location, close to bus stop and local resturants/pubs/coffee shops, lovely welcome, well appointed room and bathroom. Easy walk to the Houses of Parliament for the tour we had booked.

Great Hotel! Location is good and perfectly between 2 Underground Tube stations. Room was great for the price and the service was outstanding. Absolutely would stay again :)

We found the Melbourne House Hotel conveniently located close to good restaurants, and transit. It was our first visit to London and the Innkeeper and hotel owner (family business) was full of ideas for Restaraunts, places to see, and provided information on best way to get there. His advice turned out to be good throughout our visit. The hotel itself is on a quiet street. The room we had was not large, but was simple, clean, quiet and comfortable. We slept well. We would definitely stay at the Melbourne House hotel again.

This property was fine for one night. We arrived after the reception was closed, and we were still able to enter. However, the room was extremely small and extremely hot. A tower fan was provided but the room didn’t cool off eventually. The wifi also didn’t reach to the room on the top floor which is unacceptable if you advertise as offering wifi. Overall extremely overpriced for what it is. Good for an emergency, but don’t spend a whole week here. Go somewhere better for the same price.

One very positive statement is that the hotel is VERY WELL located to get anywhere you want to go in London. However, the room was EXCEPTIONALLY small, my dorm room in college was much larger and we had twin beds like this room The beds were very comfortable and clean. Bathroom also small. NO extra's provided like kleenex, only towels and small soap. NO NIGHT LIGHT, very dark if getting up at night. The side lamps on the side of the bed are VERY BRIGHT. No air conditioning only a small fan. LOTS AND LOTS OF STAIRS. NOT RECOMMEDED FOR OLDER INDIVIDUALS. NO ELEVATOR. Staff very friendly.

The hotel owners were helpful in keeping our stay comfortable. We were given a 3rd floor room but unfortunately the weather was very hot and we found it very uncomfortable as there is no air conditioning. There was a table fan, which helped, but it wasn't enough to circulate the air and we had the window open as well. The next day the owner offered us a 2nd floor room that became available and was slightly bigger. We were able to have a floor fan that provided more air circulation, plus we had a door that opened up to the balcony, which also provided more outside air. Rooms are small but clean, daily room service, neighborhood is quiet.

This is a great little hotel in a nice location with plenty of restaurants, pubs and convenience stores just a few minutes walk away. Close to both Pimlico and Victoria tube stations so easy to get from hotel to wherever we wanted to go. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and most importantly our room and communal areas all very clean and freshly decorated. Our room was quite tiny but it wasn’t really a problem for us as we were out and about most of the time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family and would defiantly stay there again.

Had a nice stay with my son! Staff is really friendly and helpful, would have been nice with a small fridge in the room to keep some beverages cold in the heat. Would absolutely stay here again but not on the top floor, the stairs nearly had me 😅

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a residential area so very quiet at night. The family that runs the hotel was so helpful and friendly. We would stay here again and recommend it to others. Two things to note -- no breakfast is served at the hotel and there is no elevator, so we recommend it for those who can be flexible on these two things.

It was in a great location. We walked to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and “The Eye” to name a few. There were restaurants and shops all around. It’s a great location

We are very dissappointed when we booked the hotel we read that breakfast was included. This hotel has no breakfast at all. We had to go out every morning for eating breakfast it is very expensive in Westminster.

Horrible experience! 42 degrees Fahrenheit and I had no heat, I tried to sleep, office closed at 11pm, at 3am I called and received excuses but finally room got warm. I was rudely treated and told my problem I couldn’t sleep, no accountability for a ice cold room. Heat in bathroom came on at 7am only a portable heater in room.

The proprietor was quite welcoming and helpful. It is fine for a moderate hotel and is a good location. Not recommended for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. There is no lift.
