Cosy, clean and quiet. Spent a lovely night at Brooks' with a small fountain gently bubbling outside my window, in a well-kept and extremely comfortable room. The bathroom was clean and tidy too. Super-central.
I didn't have breakfast but it looked great when I walked through as I left.
All the pictures give a good indication of the guesthouse, and the staff were really chilled and helpful. Great friendly service, and they wanted to make sure that everything was as it should be.
Heading back again for work this coming week, and looking forward to it.

Great Central location, with easy access to everything the city has to offer. We'll presented and clean rooms. The hotel ticked all our boxes for a long weekend city break.

We were so impressed with the accomodation, for the price we paid, it really exceeded our expectations! Its in a amazing location, immaculately clean, felt very safe, the space we had was more than enough for two adults, we slept amazingly. We live in a small town so I did wonder how loud it would be at night but it really wasnt that bad, very minimal. The room was really nicely decorated and everything well thought through. The honesty bar downstairs was a great addition too.
There was one thing just to make the manager aware of was that there was a bit of a smell from the drains in the bathroom. We kept the bathroom door shut and the window in there open but it was noticeable. We understand the area is very very old so I can imagine the drains are also of that age so perhaps nothing can be done but we thought we should mention it. Didn't affect our stay.
