We really liked the hotel. We will definitely atay again.

We stayed in this hotel before going to Mt. Rushmore. This is a resort hotel, so they'll charge a mandatory resort fee. It's connected to Watiki water resort, as expected, kids are running in the hallway. Our room was not cleaned completely., there was a dirty soda cup at the corner behind the floor lamp.I called the desk, spoke with Carlos, he mentioned giving me a discount, but it didn't happen, its fine, he is sorry, and that was a good gesture for me, and besides, Carlos gave us a warm welcome when we checked in. Hot breakfast is offered for free. Parking is a challenge since it's common parking with the water park and another hotel adjacent to it.

Took our family for a 3 night stay during spring break. The room was freezing and had a large amount of cold air coming from a closed window. The bed was semi comfortable but the amount of pillows given wasn't great, called too the front desk each night we stayed and they had none available as extras. The bathroom shower lacked a good scrubbing, so housekeeping definitely didn't do a thorough job. This being a family environment it was definitely loud, the people above us were stomping all hours of the day and night- but this is to be expected at a family resort. We stayed at this hotel for the water park which did not disappoint on the side for fun. The food however was lacking, both at Sliders grill and the breakfast offered to hotel guests.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. The kiddos ejoyed the waterpark. We brought dogs and theybhad a great area for pets. There was a resort fee per day. It was not as much as others have reported.

They overcharged me and had sooo many hidden fees. They don’t let you swim free as a guest. They almost refused to give me extra towels for my room. They were asking me how many people I had with me etc. The breakfast was overcooked and juice was old. Room service was nicer than the front desk.

Great place to stay with all the amenities for a family trip. Carpet in the room was still wet from being cleaned. Other than that, great stay.

Great location for the gymnastics competition we were in town for. Walking distance to restaurants, as well as a restaurant right in the hotel which was great while our daughters were enjoying the water park. This hotel is connected to the water park.

Staff seemed pretty nice

Stay was good, room was nice, bathroom was nice, could use a bit more sound deadening. Could hear stomping, yelling, tv, ect from what seamed like every room in the hotel. It is a very children oriented hotel so kids and the behavior is to be expected. With that being said, ive learned many people have 0 respect or give any amount of courtesy to others staying at the same hotel. The hallways were reserved for stomping and racing until roughly 11 p.m.. The watiki water park (reason we took our kids to rapid city and chose this hotel) was not open due to being booked for a gymnastics team only event. A notice about this before purchasing tickets for the water park, booking an above priced room at the water park, and basing a trip around this specific waterpark would have been nice. Wasnt the worst experience ever, but many things could have been done to notify or give hotel guests a notice before they had their young children standing at the entrance in swim suits being told they cannot swim at the pool in the hotel they chose because of the pool.....

Room was clean and I like how the accommodate pets, but front desk lady was rude as she booked me for a double queen while I book for a king. I asked for my original room as she stated they were booked and there was nothing she do to contact Expedia. Which I did because I paid a little more for the king, and he was able to get me the room I paid for.

We, need accessible property, and the room and bathroom was just perfect. Loved the breakfast as well.

Even though my kids are grown and I did not come for Watiki like a lot of people that stay here, it was convenient, a great price, clean, AMAZING empoyees, and decent breakfast (pretty typical offerings, was a little disappointed the only muffin they had was banana when I an allergic, and no other pastry offerings, plus there was no bacon. If my husband, son or father had been asking, they would have wanted more MEAT lol. And there were a few stock show attendees staying there at the same time, so i can only imagine they would have appreciated more meat, too). Loved that there was tons of room to eat breakfast, though. Overall, great stay!!

The stay was great. We have always stayed at the LaQuinta during the Black Hills Stock Show because its pet friendly as well as there is plenty of parking for a truck and trailer. Only issue this trip was the amount of kids running up and down the halls as well as above us. It makes it hard to get up early when youve been listening to kids running, jumping, and screaming all night. Otherwise was really great.

Requested a ground floor room, they confirmed I was reserved in a ground floor and put us on the 3 rd floor.

The beds and bath rooms were good, we stayed in room 401 a family room, dust was coming off the crown molding I realized the room service couldn’t reach that high but could use a good cleaning, the breakfast was not good, everything was gone by the time we wanted to eat at 8:15 in the morning we had to go eat somewhere else!
