We loved our 4 nights at kiwassa. The host was perfect- helpful but not intrusive. Our room was generous and felt like “The Adirondacks”

We stayed in the Goose unit. It was an upper unit with a balcony that overlooked Kiwassa Lake.

This area gets absolute quiet after dark. Driving in dark, especially in rain/snow conditions, needs extra caution due to mountainous terrain. We were first time guests and arrived at 10 pm. Office/reception was closed by then. We did not have any problem getting into our room (instructions provided by phone message) but to reach the house we had to take guidance from neighbors who were luckily awake.

Fabulous lake view. Lovely kayaking and swimming. Spacious, comfortable accommodations. Several canoes and kayaks with paddles and lifejackets to choose from. Fishing popular too. Owners very friendly and helpful with local attractions.
