Comfortable quiet hotel. Located out of town up a steep hill a little out of town so as we were on a bike and didn't feel like riding back down the hill and into town had to have the buffet dinner as well as the breakfast at the Hotel. Beds were comfortable and is in a quiet location.

A neat clean hotel with helpful staff that has an AMAZING view of the Rhien; wonderful for reflection and time alone.

We went for a long weekend, mainly to visit Cologne and to see some of the Rhine. We hired a car and felt it was a great location for driving up to Cologne and down to Koblenz and Rudeshein.
The railway station was a few minutes drive, quite handy for people wanting to travel by train for longer distances. We also visited local villages and towns. A car-ferry just a ten minute drive away took us across the Rhine and another ten minute drive down to the village of Unkel (directly across from the hotel). Well worth a visit.

If you're looking for a hotel with all the modern amenities then this isn't your place. If you're interested in old world charm, a peaceful stay and great food and views, then this is your place. I found it to be a great location to visit different attractions in the Rhine valley.
