It was fine. Didn’t spend to much time at the hotel as it was a quick business trip. Nice big room, comfortable bed.

Checked in late with family. Quick, easy process. Room was immaculate. Admittedly, I had trouble sleeping but I think that was more about me than the bed or the pillows. The breakfast was great. I’ve never seen a pancake machine before! It was nice to see something different than the typical waffle iron. Kids and adults both loved the pool. Decent temp and seriously, the cleanest pool area I’ve ever been in. Pools usually have kind of gross pool decks where you feel like you still need to wear shoes for good hygeine. This place looked clean enough to eat off the floor…I wouldn’t…but it looked like you could. On the way out the door at check out, the front lady gave each kid a goodie bag. Seriously, best hotel experience in a long time…maybe best ever

Checking into the hotel was quick and easy. Our rooms had issues. The first room the ac was not working and the room was about 80 in the room, the bed seemed used but made, and there were clothes in the drawer. We stayed in the room for a couple of hours thinking it would cool off. We ended up switching rooms and the next room wardrobe bar fell down when we put hang up clothes on. In addition, the breakfast was good but ended at 9 am on the weekend, way earlier than i normally get up.

The breakfast was wonderful and we had a great time stay in La Mars

The hotel was clean and had a good location for the town. There was always someone at the desk so I never had to wait. Breakfast had many options and was good. It did end early on the weekend (9:30). They didn’t service the room (3 nights) during the stay. The walls are thin, and it was loud from people in the hallways. Saturday morning - the hotel was prob full - there was no hot water. Sunday morning the water was lukewarm.

Checking was swift and friendly. The room I checked into was not the room I booked via the photos/description from booking online. The staff was quick and able to switch me to the room I thought I booked which was another upgrade to accommodate my kids and entertaining traveling family. Overall a great stay, thank you.

I always stay at the Holiday Inn Express in LeMars when I visit family there. I can count on the hotel to be clean and the staff to be friendly. I am disappointed that when I book directly through Holiday Inn's website there are a ridiculous amount of add on fees. Luckily I noticed that before I booked my room and I booked through a third party for a big savings.

The hotel and room were clean and comfrontable. The hot breakfast was barely warm at best and there was not a microwave in the dining area to make it more edible. Next to cold food on a cold morning made the stay.... not so hot.

This was a very nice option as you move through Iowa. It was clean and it had a good breakfast.

We were traveling back from a Black Hills vacation to St Louis, and needed a place to just sleep. This place had great reviews and was off the beaten path of the bigger cities. WOWEE WOW WOW! This was probably the best hotel I have stayed in in a decade or more! Our Hotels.com reservation did not go through and there were no more rooms available. Hotels.com FAILED miserably to rectify this, but just our luck, someone canceled and the rep at the desk caught my husband and gave us the same low rate to book this room! What a sweetheart of a lady! At this point, we just wanted to sleep and get a hot breakfast. The room was newly decorated with complete light-blocking shades, super comfy beds with both firm and soft pillows, a great shower, and well-lit vanity! The breakfast was not the run-of-the-mill one. Pancake maker and syrup Rocked! Cheese omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, as well as sweet rolls, both 2% and skim milk, juices, and all was very tasty!! I can't express enough how you should stay here! I doubt we will ever be through Le Mars IA again, but if we were, this is DEFINITELY where we would stay! Well done Holiday Inn Express Le Mars!

Very nice facility. The night front desk clerk was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean & had great access to plug ins everywhere. Lighting in room & bathroom was nice. The night light below the light switch was a great idea. Loved that they had actually full size pillows. the room setup for putting bags on a table/stand. It Fit more than one bag perfectly.

Had a marvelous stay, though a terrible meal at nearby restaurant.

Two of the three front desk workers were overly sweet and nice, I really thought they were lovely. Bed is so comfortable!
