The hotel was relatively pretty clean. The room was a decent size. The beds were okay; I thought the mattresses were a bit too soft, but that is a personal preference. Beds were very clean, room was very clean, bathroom was relatively clean. I thought the shower door had a build up of soap scum on the bottom, and the bottom of the walls had a bit of a moldy appearance. But overall the room was relatively pretty clean and the value for what we were charged was acceptable. The coffee station was really great, and the coffee was superb!
This specific location was right near an active train track, and in the early morning hours the train ran at least hourly with the horns being blown. It was loud in the room. The walls and floors were kind of thin as I could hear the tv on in another room in the morning. I believe a housekeeper was changing a room on the floor above us as it sounded like someone was doing laps back and forth, and then we could clearly hear the doors and window shades being pulled up and down (they have a chain to move them). We unfortunately did not make it in time for the breakfast as we chose to (try) to sleep in as we were travelling by car for quite a while that day. The shower was a bit disappointing as the water pressure was terrible and the hot water was more like just warm.

I was in and out pretty quick. I did not have breakfast, but the coffee was good. An option for a "bolder" (darker?) roast would be nice.
There was an odd odor in my room. Sadly, it resembled a urine smell that you may encounter in gas station bathroom.

The bed was very comfortable and the blinds did a great job of blocking out the light.
When we arrived there were filters laying out on the top of the AC unit. There was trash on the floor in the bathroom behind the trash can. The TV would not get a signal so we were not able to watch TV. They did offer us to move to a different room but we had already unpacked and taken showers and were ready to chill for the night. We received and phone call the room phone sometime after midnight and when I finally answered the phone it asked to push one if you are authorized to answer the call, I pushed one and then it asked for an employee number. I just hung up the phone and was very frustrated that we had been awaken from a deep sleep and then had trouble getting back to sleep. There was someone walking around in the room above us all night and they were loud foot steps. The next morning my wife went to the restroom and the toilet wouldn't flush. The tank would not fill up. This was the last night of 30 nights sleeping in hotels, motels, lodges and B&B's and this was the worst night for sleeping we experienced the entire trip.
