My room appeared to have been broken into before or needed to be forcibly open by staff. Door was unlocked when I first arrived into the room. The door was able to shut and lock, but took some effort to do so sometimes. Overall, cleaned and pleased for the few days I stayed for the price I paid.

The room was not cleaned from previous use when I arrived, but I was too tired to and wanted to sleep so I turned the sheets over and slept. I made sure to leave the clean please hanging from the door and I came back the next night with the do not disturb sign hanging from the door. The room uncleared and again I was way too tired for a confrontation. Terrible, would not recommend.

I want to be clear that I have no complaints about the front desk staff and cleaning staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. I do have complaints about the facilities. I stayed two nights and both days, daytime temperatures exceeded 105 degrees. While the room air conditioner worked, the ice machine on floors 1 and 2 were broken or empty and the pool was closed the entire time. There were numerous brown crickets crawling or dead in the hallway, a few in the bathroom as well. The doors slammed very loud and this happened up and down the hallway late into the night and early in the morning. The hotel advertises updates and while the artwork was nice and the beds were comfortable, there were paint drips/smears on the bathroom floor and overall the “improvements” looked as though they were don’t in haste and overall poor craftsmanship.

The property was nice for its location. This is my fault as much as anyone’s but the price quoted on Hotels.com ended up not being what was charged. The total bill was much more and there were dramatic differences in the daily rate depending on the day I stayed. I must have missed it on the website (which seems to be more confusing than the last time I used it). Again, I didn’t catch it until we checked out and then it seemed to be too late.

So overpriced for this type of hotel. They must not have competition in Stephenville, TX. Soap scum in the bathtub, hairs, and the air conditioner was barely cool.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Facility has been newly remodeled and looks really nice. Everything was clean and comfortable, nice soft towels. We had an issue with our door though, something wasnt right it was hard to open and close and it we couldn't get the deadbolt to lock. Sounded like others around us had the same issues because their doors sounded similar to ours each time thet were having to be forced opened. Pool was closed and ice machine was out of order. Hopefully these things are a the list to be fixed as part of the remodel.

Catherine, front desk receptionist, was amazing. She was very attentive and friendly. The hotel was conveniently among a lot of shopping areas. Room was clean and very nice. Only thing was the housekeepers, they were a bit loud in the morning when cleaning next door.

Overnight, our stay was good. However, we were really disappointed to find that the pool and the uce machine were both "temporarily out of service." I feel like there should have been some sort of adjustment to our rate to compensate for that.

We stayed there for the outdoor pool which of course was closed. I tried to confirm the pool was open the day before by calling four different times. No answer. Although the staff was apologetic he stated “yeah the phone system doesn’t work very well” This is the second straight time I booked a room with a pool that was closed. I won’t be booking through Expedia any longer.

Great location. Several business, restaurants, fast food, shopping and grocery store near by. Our room was was well stocked with coffee maker and all the fixings, extra towels, microwave, and refrigerator. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too firm. We will be back!

Room was only ½ furnished. Drawers had no fonts to them and I had to clean the dirt and dust from inside b4 I could put clothes in. Room keys NEVER worked, had to get a new one every time we left the room. Rented a suite, tv remote in bedroom didn't work, and there wasn't even a cable box in the main room. Room was dark. Only a couple ceiling lights and no lamps. Switch plates were screwed on with drywall screws. It was VERY DISAPPOINTING!

We checked in after a long wait line due to a construction issue with their new front desk. Apparently all of us who visited while waiting were there for graduation weekend for many of the local higher schools. The only clerk did a great job of getting everyone checked in with a great sense of humor. Our stay was shorter than expected but all in all it was very nice. We will definitely stay there again
