This was a beautiful room at night you can see the city . So beautiful, staff was exceptionally kind and patient I’m older it was no rush they protect your privacy by not shouting out your room # so others can hear the t!

I'm from Illinois and lived in Vegas for a long time and after coming back here I was so looking forward to staying at Ameristar. You can get a room in Vegas on the strip for $60. Hotels.com almost always helps waive security deposits and early check-in fees. A room was over $200 here on a Monday night, and arriving there out of state they arbitrarily charged us an additional $75 for a 2-hour early check-in. This is completely unreasonable considering the room was ready and the hotel was not even at half capacity for the evening. They refuse to discount or comply with hotels.com request to waive this fee (that's almost half the room fee for the entire night for 2 hours!!). Arriving there we were very excited and the room was extremely nice! But two out of three TVs did not work there were lights in the room that would not turn off preventing restful sleep and after midnight a very loud noise continued even as we checked out. No explanation for the noise. And after advising the hotel staff of our miserable night they asked if we had contacted them about the disturbance and other complaints? I had to say why would i? You didn't care that I had no money to eat or gamble at your hotel, which was good because only one restaurant was open no stores, and if you didn't care that I was miserable at your hotel why would you care if I got any sleep? Oh and three drinks and order of fries at hotel bar was almost $60 we left broke & upset. Very sad, not even bellman or valet short staf

Great stay and plenty to do.

There was not a room available at the time of check-in, even thought I did have a room reserved. This cut into our time and plans substantially. The tv’s would not work. When we called the main desk they informed us that the “tower was out” and that no one had working tvs. There wasn’t really any kind of apology for the inconvenience, no comp offering, not really even an apology, which I found to be the most annoying.

The room was newly renovated and wonderful. BUT, the guy next door to me was very loud and angry at 4 am. I called the front deck and she sent "security" . They did not resolve he issue. I called a second time. Again, security failed. I decided it was too loud and dangerous to stay. The front desk did not even apologize and refused any refund. She was rude and inconsiderate to ME, the offended party. She protected the bad guy and told me "adios".

Our room was nice. Only complaints were the bed was a little hard, The night stand had a stain on it and the couch was stained up and wore down. The view was nice and the location was convenient. The staff were nice. Overall was a good room.

Stayed for a weekend with friends to celebrate a birthday. We choose to splurge and stay the the hotel itself even though it’s a litter pricier than surrounding hotels. We were charged $85 to check in early (2pm) even though the room was already available. Our room had stains all over the carpet and couch. Two pillows on each bed set up strange. No microwave, and mini fridge that was barely below 60 degrees. One box of tissues that had three in it. We did call to get extra pillows and blankets, housekeeping service was very quick and polite to get them to us. However, our room was not cleaned all weekend. We had one tiny trash can and it was never emptied. For $700 (two nights) I would expect daily housekeeping services, early check in if room is available free of charge, and impeccably clean conditions. The couch was COVERED in stains, not to mention flat cushions that are far past their lifespan. We won’t be spending money on a “luxury” casino hotel again, specifically the Ameristar.

Everything was great, service was wonderful, the place was clean, fun place to be. Liked that you needed your key to get in the elevator.
