My friend and I recently stayed at Hotel Don Pedro in Ischia, and it was one of the highlights of our Italy trip. The hotel sits on a hillside with stunning views of the island, especially at sunrise and sunset. Waking up each morning and stepping onto the balcony was absolutely beautiful.
What made our stay unforgettable was the family who owns and operates the hotel. They treated us like family from the moment we arrived. One morning, we had to leave very early for a Pompeii excursion. Without us even asking, they prepared breakfast boxes with sandwiches, apples, and bottled water so we wouldn’t leave hungry.
They were always looking out for us and helping with transportation. One day, Joe saw us walking back to the hotel, pulled over, and gave us a ride. Small acts like these made us feel genuinely cared for.
By the end of our stay, we didn’t feel like tourists. We felt welcomed and included. The kindness, hospitality, and warmth we experienced here were truly special. If you’re looking for beautiful views and authentic Italian hospitality, I highly recommend Hotel Don Pedro.

The most perfect stay. Very kind staff they were so helpful and made me feel safe as a solo female traveler. The ac in the room worked very well, the pool had a great view. Dinner at the hotel was great as well. I had to leave at 6am and they packed me a little breakfast bag todo w a sandwich and water. It was the sweetest. Highly recommend this hotel
