The apartment is in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the city’s historical sights and attractions. It’s also a great choice for those who enjoy nightlife, with plenty of bars and places to go out nearby.
There are shops and restaurants just around the corner, with a great variety of options — from affordable and casual places to Michelin-starred restaurants. Whatever your taste or budget, there is plenty to choose from.
Overall, the location of the apartment is excellent and makes it very convenient to enjoy everything the city has to offer.
There are a few things to consider before booking this apartment.
First, it is not suitable for people who are sensitive to noise or looking for a quiet place to sleep. The street is very busy and noisy, especially at night. There is activity throughout the night — people talking and laughing, music and general street noise. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this apartment.
We stayed in the Moon apartment on the fourth floor. There are quite a lot of steep stairs, so it may not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs or climbing.
Another issue was the hot water. The water was sometimes only lukewarm and somewhat cloudy. It was possible to shower, but if you prefer a hot shower with plenty of hot water, this may be disappointing.
There is also no air conditioning. The hosts kindly provided fans, which were helpful, but during a very hot summer day I imagine the apartment, especially on the upper floor, could become quite warm.
That said, the apartment itself is very stylish, with a beautiful historic interior that fits the character of the city perfectly. The main things to consider are the noise, the stairs, the hot water and the lack of air conditioning.

The flat is right in the centre of town, so it’s super convenient and easy to get anywhere from here.
This was our first time visiting Poland, and unfortunately, we were disappointed with the accommodation. As the property is located in the Old Town, I understand that many of the buildings are older and may not have lifts. However, I feel the listing should have made it much clearer that the room could be on the 4th floor and that the building does not have a lift.
I travelled with my husband and my father-in-law, who is elderly and has knee and hip problems, as well as heart issues. We had to carry a suitcase up four flights of stairs during a heatwave, which was extremely difficult and something we would have wanted to know about before booking.
We did try to find alternative accommodation, but unfortunately, by that point, most places were either fully booked or far too expensive.
The room also didn't look quite like the pictures shown in the listing. The kitchen light wasn't working, and for three people staying for four days, they only provided three sachets of coffee and three sugars, which didn't feel very generous.
If you have mobility issues, bad knees, are not comfortable with several flights of stairs, or are travelling with elderly people, I would strongly recommend checking with the property about the floor and lift situation before booking. This information should be made much clearer in the listing so guests can make an informed decision.
