The two young men at the reception, (when we checked in and during our stay), were fab.

Relatively basic, but if all you need is somewhere to lay your head, you're golden. It's showing it's age a little, but it's clean, and well run. The staff are lovely, and the late check out option is really useful.
We always enjoy the little cafe downstairs, even spotted an ex international RFU player in there this last stay!

The rooms are overall comfortable, however during the summer, the lack of AC made it hard to sleep. I saw a cobweb on the ceiling. The tables next to the beds are inadequate. The water in the sink was scalding and I couldn't find cool water until the next morning to wash my hands. Overall, the room was spacious with a tv and a desk. No breakfast which was disappointing for the price. Just ok to spend one night.
