This is a good location in the old city. It is also close to the Léon museum, which is very good. The building is several centuries old and the furnishings had a rustic quality that gave me the sense of what it was like to be here two hundred years ago (although the plumbing and wifi were very good).
Because the hardwood floors were bare, the footsteps on the floor above were quite loud, but that guest was not awake late into the night walking around.

Good ensuite.
Comfortable bed.
Weren’t told it was an attic room with no window, only velux window. It rained heavily all weekend so we couldn’t open it. Room fitted with air con but we couldn’t use it as staff said it wasn’t available in May. We were boiling!
