I appreciated the digital self check-in, it wasn't stressful and we could easily arrive/depart on our own schedule. The room was small but what we needed for our stay. The location was walkable to the areas we wanted to explore downtown and parking wasn't too difficult on the street. Breakfast was well stocked and a hot breakfast was available and worth the cost. This was our first time to Northern Ireland and we were impressed with the friendliness of the staff-- we would recommend this place!

The room we had came with various problems , curtain fallen down, tv not working, room was cold too! I rung up three times to ask for things to be sorted and nothing was done ! I managed to fix things myself after being told on the third call they can’t do anything until tomorrow now! Things were reported at 6pm and they didn’t seem to care! Three different people o spoke to and all said they will sort it and didn’t! We won’t be staying here again

I booked in advance. I was told to arrive before 8pm. At 730 pm, I arrived and could not gain access to the facility. There was a notice outside that said it was self check-in and an email was sent with instructions. I never received an email and was unable to get ahold of the property owners. Expedia was unable to get ahold of them as well. I was left stranded as a solo traveler in a foreign country without a place to stay. Expedia attempted to call them the next day with no answer and no respond to emails. On day 2 they finally reached them and they stated I was a no show and refused to help.

Sadly, very disappointing. Room had peeling wallpaper and was generally in poor/dingy condition. Bathroom was far too tiny: banged my hip on the sink both sitting on the toilet and getting into the shower cubicle - approx only 80cm x 120cm space to move in. Bed was comfortable though. Breakfast was served in another B&B 200m down the street and was of poor quality / cheap buffet items. Fresh fruit was the only redeeming feature. While not far from the city centre, it is up a very long and steep hill. We wanted to support the local independents, but wish we'd chosen one of the generic chain hotels in the city centre given our experience. I don't know how it is possible to have an 8.8 rating on Hotels.com which is otherwise usually pretty accurate.

Breakfast was excellent. TV did not receive BBC 1 or BBC2. Mattress was a it lumpy and too short for me.

Excellent location with all sights within easy reach on foot. Pleasant friendly staff. Very comfortable room. A very tasty self-service breakfast served in their sister property, Serendipity B+B, across the road from Angel House and a wide selection on offer. Free on-street parking very handy. Not a great outside impression but once inside, pretty perfect. If visiting Derry in the future, would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t know there was a follow up email with a key code and unit number. Key was VERY difficult to manipulate bedroom door. Door did not latch without deadbolt. Loud music and dogs in the back and guests checking in at almost midnight. Breakfast was served in some nearby sister B&B so I did not partake. Bathroom was down a floor, unclear if other guests needed to use it also - should be spelled out. Toilet did not flush on first 3-4 tries.

Lovely room and bed comfortable however there was no heating and room therefore quite cold. Easy check in and out.

It was clean, neat with a roomy bath. Private bath is on a floor below my room ....a major inconvenience during nite hours and suspect also for the other residents as stairs were squeaky. There are a lot stairs to climb to get to front door and once inside more steps.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely breakfast and we were close to the centre of town. However, even though the room was clean and tidy, it was very small and the bathroom even smaller. On the whole we had a pleasant stay

Self service entry but emails sent before our stay explained process and everything was easy. Room was on the small side but ideal for a quick break. Breakfast was served in sister B&B (Serendipity) across the road and had everything we required. Very friendly staff and good location as only 10 minute downhill walk into town centre, although it seems much further away when driving to it! Only £3 for taxi ride back up at night. Google navigation took us round in circles for a bit as property is up off the road via steps so will be looking for Serendipity next time we visit to get our bearings. Would definitely stay again.

Good value. Not great if you can’t handle hills or steps but most places except Centre of city would probably have same problem. Apart from that ,it’s in a convenient location,fine house,room small but has everything you need. Very clean ,nice staff and automatic check-in works fine. Would stay again.

The owners run a number of properties here but this one does laundry for some of the others so housekeeping/breakfast staff are around most of the day and were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well handled (eggs properly cooked to order). Our room had a peek a boo view of the town from 3 opening windows and was very quiet at night.

Generally good. The system of gaining entry to the building and room works well, although for me personally, having someone there to greet guests and help them with luggage would be preferable. The member of staff there at breakfast time was very pleasant and provided a lovely breakfast.

such a pleasant stay, we were down on business trip and didnt know what time we would be able to check in but thanks to self check in we checked in any time we wanted and checked out after breakfast, staff were very friendly and incredible.

Close to city centre. Beautiful place. Wonderful breakfast. Maybe a warning that the double bed and room it is in would be suitable for only one person or two really, really skinny ones lol. Also there was a no smoking sign on the front door and we never saw a smoker but our room smelled of it the whole time and there was visible smoke in the bathroom. If you are sensitive to it not very pleasant.

Just above the Bogside, with a great view over the city, and an easy walk into town. Quiet. Efficient. Free wifi. Decent breakfast. Clean and friendly. A good alternative to an impersonal hotel.
