Reading other reviews I was nervous but for the price you can't beat this place. Friendly staff was very accomodating and everything was very clean upon checking in

The ceiling was dirty like they haven’t dusted the ceiling for a long time and in the bathroom, there was black mold up on the ceiling and by where the fan is and when you turn on the fan, it sounded like an airplane taking off

The address of the hotel in maps took us into a neighborhood instead of the hotel. The night clerk was not friendly at all. We had 3 bath towels in the room but only 1 wash cloth. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Old but fairly clean, breakfast was better than we expected but no hot items. Nobody at desk upon late arrival. A decent budget place to stay, we will try other places next time around.

Went for a baseball game. Room was so clean and beds were very comfortable! Staff was the nicest people I’ve ever met at a hotel!

The clerk checking in was amazing!
The clerk checking out was very rude. Stating get your receipt from whomever you booked thru. She was speaking thru glass and we could not hear very well, and she just was rude.

My husband was flown here to Sanford hospital and I wanted a place to stay close by. Wish the rooms had a microwave so I could just buy stuff to heat up. I am having to stay over a week here and it’s getting expensive.

It was a clean and nice little getaway. Breakfast was a cold, on the go option, but still very reasonable and convenient. Worth the price and location was great. I plan to come back again.

Clean, easy and inexpensive, exactly what we needed. Breakfast was sparse but no problem, just grabbed the last two bagels and ran to Starbucks,

People wandering the hallways who looked like they didn't belong there. Yelling & banging on the doors during the night. Paper thin walls & doors. Room didn't look like it was even vacuumed. will not be going back.

We checked in here so we could be across the street from my father who was having a heart operation. This place was so dusty that my allergies acted up and did not know it until I had time to really look around and see that even the sprinklers in the room in case of fire had an inch of dust on them. The shower was disgusting and the walls were dirty.

It is conveniently located near Sanford Hospital, and it has plenty of parking space. Quiet at night.

Very old hotel. It was clean and it was worth the money. Breakfast was almost funny it was pretty bad. The worst is the pillows. You might as well bringyour own becase when you lay you head on them they are flat. But i will say over all it was what we paid for. Probably would pay a lil extra and stay at one of the hotels that surround it. Small 32 inch tv. Very friendly staff.

Very comfortable for visiting family in Sioux Falls. We like that it’s not on the interstate.
It’s convenient to Sanford Medical Center.
The staff is great. Housekeeping does have staffing shortages from time to time.
The breakfast is NOT deluxe in any way.
It’s bare bones. Toast is passable.
Yogurt is fine when it’s available.
Coffee is weak. Breakfast needs improvement.

This is a nice hotel, older but well kept, that is in a quiet neighborhood. While all the other hotels in Sioux Falls were very high priced Valley Inn was very reasonably priced. We have stayed here in the past, and will stay here in the future.

Check-in was efficient. Person working behind the counter was very professional. The room was very clean and included all essential amenities. The shower was very enjoyable with lots of hot water. What I enjoyed most about this hotel was the quality breakfast that was included when the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

The shower had low water pressure. Kitchen area was dirty. Recliner in room was broke. I reported to clerk when I checked out & she said she will tell housekeeping. She was a bit rude. So was the clerk when I checked in.

The smell when you opened the door was awful like B.O.
Complained to management they said it may be the Air-conditioning unit that it leaks and gets carpet wet?! Hu?! It was the beds!!!

Walls either needed to be scrubbed or painted. No facial tissue in our room. Box was empty. No coffee in the second building.

We stayed in room 217 and it appeared that there was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling . The freezer was also too frosted up to be able to use it properly for our needs.

The hotel was nice. Clean and close to the hospital for my brother in law surgery. They was helpful about having to leave early. If thing comes up again I know where to stay

The hotel's front desk looked worn out, and it was quite inconvenient that the front desk and the rooms weren't in the same building. To make matters worse, the sheets were stained, and there was hair in both the bathtub and on the floor, clearly pointing to cleanliness problems.

The parking lot was cleaned daily and the interior was okay. Although I thought the halls could use a facelift, the room was adequate, noise was minimal, and the location was centralized so I there were a lot of places I could walk to from there. It's across the street from the hospital, but there wasn't any noise from emergency vehicles or helicopters, for which I was pleased.

The room itself was fine. The front desk person at check in was HORRIBLE! Ruined my entire visit. Also, without a car, things are a little hard to get to.
That being said, the front desk person was horrible. She clearly didn't want to be there and was nasty. Definitely recommend for customers NOT TO GO THERE just because of her.
