Arrived and room had mechanical problems with HVAC, fans, remotes for the television. Asked to speak to a maintenance technician to address the problems, hotel staff became very obnoxious with me. Was eventually switched to a new room that had the same problems and more. Left within an hour of arrival and am working on a refund due to the unsafe and poor conditions of the rooms causing me to have to find a new hotel to stay at.

Overall the property is decent but it's starting to fall apart. No hot water at times, water leaking from bathroom ceiling, Appliances are old and dated, TV HDMI ports are rusty looking and do not work. They also have a huge ant problem and roach problem. The staff is friendly and will do their best to accommodate your needs. Security guard is usually sleeping on night shift. The area of Cabarete is pretty safe but still don't want to see my security sleeping most of the time in the front lobby. The best part about this place is the location. It's literally right on the beach. Even with that, they still have a lot of work to do on this place. It has sooooo much potential to be amazing. Just needs a little TLC. I've stayed at this location for the last 5 years at least 1-2 times a year but I think its finally time to move on. I've found another place also in Cabarete that's well taken care of and up to date with modern amenities.

The view and location and large deck are the stars of the show here! Yes, the kitchen shows a bit of wear but is clean and very functional. Would definitely recommend!

We liked the outside appearance of the property as well as the apartment's size. The apartment itself appears to be a bit dated and could need a touch-up. Communication was ok after reaching out. Didn't really have information how to check-in until the day when we were supposed to stay there. Everything was smooth upon arrival though and somebody walked us up to the apartment. The amenities are limited. There is a nice pool but both hot tubs on the top of the building were cold. The location of the property is right on Kite Beach, however, about a 20 minute walk to downtown Cabarete.

The location was great. On arrival, Yesenia was warm, welcoming and gracious. All staff, housekeeping, security and groundskeeper were pleasant. The view from the terrace and master bedroom was spectacular. Nice kitchen and good enough amenities. Everything was clean and housekeeping came everyday. I had no issues. It had all I needed. I had a great stay. This is where I will stay when next I go to Puerto Plata.

Well the property is what it is a Oceanfront condo type of Hotel. The staff are great... but would love for these type of Hotel to have like a list of the local restaurant and things to do...very similar to Millennium Hotel but there is a couple of thing that it has over this one...the Luxury Part. Do to the Lock down you will think the Hotel will tidy up things like lighting falling out of fixture, windows missing hinges, an outlet not properly secure that is a hazard, stains on walls and rusty refrigerator doors, stains on balcony cushions, Things like that for me are not Luxury. Take advantage of the slow season now and fix, Than call you self Luxury

I loved the ability to walk out your back door to a beautiful beach with dogs running, good food and drink within steps, kite surfing lessons in the afternoon and surfing encudaro in the morning. We will be back !

Staff is very friendly. They went an extra mile to make us feel happy. They find out where to buy a birthday’s cake For us close to the hotel. Everything was great. We had a good time.

I can say this place was amazing as far as the beach view and location !!! The staff was helpful and friendly as well !! It offers you the flexibility to prepare your own meals if you want value for a family or close to restaurants if you choose to eat out !!! The amenities were great and the price compared to other places are in line with the rest ?? We had a great time and look forward to going back again !!! I read some older reviews before and its obvious they have fixed or repaired many of the problems so that they are no longer valid !! Enjoy your stay and rellax while watching some of the gifted kite surfers do amazing things ok god bless

Very nice and spacious apartment, modern decoration, marble floors, huge kitchen. Beautiful ocean view, with a little beach that varies in size depending on the time of the year. Very private building with only 8 apartments and elevator. Good sized pool and two jacuzzis on the top floor. Our family had a great time. My teenage daughters did not want to leave. Parking space in the front of the building with security.

Very nice property, excellent location, the host that received us was AMAZING, great personality, very hospitable and professional. We hand an ant problem in one of the rooms (pest control), the breakfast that was included we never had, ticket said 8am, we left at 9 am and no signs of breakfast anywhere.... but overall, the beds were very comfortable, view was amazing, friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay - the apartment was right on the scenic Kite Beach, great for sunning, swimming and watching the amazing kite surfers every afternoon.

I wrote a long review, but Hotels.com lost it when I submitted. The shorter version is;Nice place, spacious, great views and location to kite surfing and Cabarete. But, needs ALOT of maintenance. Our AC was stuck on, got locked out of our room numerous times, doors didnt open/close, most doors didnt lock properly, pool wasnt clean, Jacuzzi didnt work. Basically, its big with nice views, but go with the intention of an OK 3 star place. Just lower your expectations and all will be good.Also WiFi sucks, make sure you have a local SIM (Clario or similar).

The beach was long and beautiful. the pool was a bit cold, but clean. A few good food and drink options within walking distance. It does get busy with kite surfers for a few hours in the afternoon so swimming is not a good option during that time. The condo was very nice, with beautiful view and other amenities. Staff were helpful. Enjoyed the 2 king size beds, Bathrooms were very large. Good experience.

I think there were only 2 units occupied in the 8 unit building. The apartment was spacious and clean and had place for our family of 5 to sleep, hang out, watch movies, and get away from each other. The terrace was gorgeous. The beach isn't fantastic, but the water was warm, the waves just right and the kites all around. it'a a half hour walk from town - walk only on the beach, and a cab ride back. Lovely.

We spent 9 days in this small but wonderfull hotel on the beach and it was one of the best vacation in my life. We were four middle aged adults - appartment's rooms were spacious, clean, nicely furnished, kitchen with all for cooking, but we did not cook, because there were good restorans nearby. Each appartment with a large balkony. Definitely I can recomend this place for those who do not like crouded hotels.
