The property and the surrounds were stunning. The bar staff seemed to be having a tough time keeping up but overall a great stay and wonderful staff ! Lots of day trips were very easy from the Inn as well as a beautiful walk into Bourton on the Water ! Highly recommended

If you’re traveling to the Cotswolds in the summer time it may be difficult to stay and enjoy the rooms at the Slaughters Country Inn when the sun is high because there is no AC or central air. Fans will suffice to circulate the air and you can ask for more with reception. The property was lovely, the staff was great and the ambiance was wonderful.

Wow , very nice hotel. Rooms are more like little cottages , felt right at home. Allowed in bar with dogs. Not cheap but huge portions and good quality food. Service was pretty good. Great setting , lits of atmosphere and real Cotswolda authentic feel. Reception staff lovely. Would like to go again
