upon check in, they told us we were upgraded, but the "upgraded" room had a queen bed and we had booked a king bed. They then delayed us about 30 min before putting us in a "standard" king room which we ordered. Not ok for a 4 star hotel

The Reeds at Shelter Haven was amazing. Everything was incredible from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was very clean and definitely high end. The room was gorgeous and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept on. I will definitely be coming back to the Reeds.

I always have a lovely stay at the Reeds. The staff are friendly and the property is clean. The staff is accommodating in every way which makes for a very pleasant stay. The amenities are wonderful, especially the Salt Spa and the staff there too is top notch. A special thank you to, Patrick, Emma, Marissa, Tommy and Beth, Tracey and Stephanie. Oh, and of course George. I’ll be back again soon.

The Reeds is a great hotel right in the heart of town. There are many shops, restaurants and within walking distance to the beach. The staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms are newly renovated. A great value for your money.

Hotel was very nice and staff very accommodating location perfect BUT when in room you can here everyone’s conversations in hall , you can here staff in hallway with their walkies talking with each other. There is no sound proofing in room.

I hv high expectations yr hotel rating, unfortunately not wht I expect. 1) no bathtub 2) yr bedroom wall insulation was inot great , we can hear noise coming from next room . 3) we very much want to have to have breakfast at your restaurant , unfortunately short staff waited too long & we left to Congress Hall for breakfast.

Loved the amenities. We would come back in a heart beat. I can not stop gushing about our stay to friends. Our refrigerator was broken in our room and the cleaning crew didn’t clean as thoroughly but that didn’t hinder our stay. I’d definitely recommend bringing your own pillow if you like something stiffer with more body to it. But other than that, no other complaints.

No management available to address guest issues. For instance, the coffee maker in our room did not work for our entire stay. We contacted the front desk several times but nothing was done to address the matter.

This property pushes for weddings and banquets without care or thought of hotel guests. At check in we were told the bar and restaurant were closed due to wedding. That evening the entire hotel turned into a disco tech with loud booming bad music, the glasses in the bathroom shook. The halls and elevator smelled like cigarettes and stale beer. Stay away, over priced and not relaxing!
