The Gateway Inn is perfectly located for a snowmobile or fishing trip. I loved the bar/restaurant being right at the hotel, with really good food. The wait staff were also friendly and provided great service. I was, however, disappointed by the cleanliness of my room (finding pretzels on the floor) and the complete lack of re-stocking our in-room coffee maker. The front desk staff were ambivalent, at best, to provide assistance.

Really enjoyed our stay. Jason at the front desk was very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were cute and rustic, styled like a cabin.

The rooms are decorated very nice with log furniture and very spacious and clean. The closest hotel to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Plus walkable to the downtown of Grand Lake. Nice little mountain town.

The building and staff were nice but the shower was disgusting. There was slimey spots and body hair on the toilet with red slime around the sides. I'm assuming they know because they didn't ask about our stay. We would stay there again if it was cleaner in the bathroom.

Staff was great. Room was large and comfortable. Had breakfast downstairs. Seevice was very good. Breakfast was tasty but plan to spend $20 per person.

I wasn’t happy that the coffee pot in lobby was always empty. Restaurants on site had no options for vegan or even vegetarian customers

We travel to Grand Lake to see fall colors every year and this is a great place to stay! The rooms are like being inside of a cabin and the decor inside the hotel is a log cabin/wilderness theme. It has a restaurant with a bar and lots of tv's to watch your favorite game. We also ate breakfast there and it was excellent. We will be back!

Loved the Log Cabin theme - well done! Awesome large veranda for chilling, relaxing, socializing. The restaurant/bar had a 4-6pm half off beer & wine was a bonus! Location is convenient to both downtown and the RMNP. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Gateway Inn for two days. The hotel was very clean and they had a bar and restaurant. Very economical way to explore Grand Lake and jumping off point for the whole area. Half the price of renting a condo and came with a mini fridge, microwave, and romantic fireplace.

Very clean, spacious and quiet. Rooms are beautiful and you’re 5 minutes from the park entrance.

Rustic setting. Paid around $300 for a king room with a fireplace, although the room was on the first floor and faced the parking lot. Had to close the blinds as people walking by. For that rate expected a better location, or at least clarification of the location. Would have picked another option. Otherwise fun place.

Overall it was a great place to stay and a great location. The rooms was clean and very spacious. We had an unexpected wake up call at midnight when the fire alarms went off. It was rough getting the kids up to evacuate the building mid-sleep. We found out later it was due to someone smoking in the building. If it hadn’t been for this incident, I think it would have been an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful rustic mountain decor. Staff was super friendly especially Darcy. Walking distance to downtown Grand Lake. View of the lake and the Fall leaves was spectacular from the deck and from our balcony room. Will return for sure!

We liked the room with the mountain decor and fireplace. The hot tub and outdoor games looking appealing, but unfortunately we had rainy weather. Also, it was a good location with a quick 3 drive to the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater.

Wooden alpine vibe complete with taxidermy, distinctive furnishings & stunning scenery. Comfortable bed in large room & bathroom. Gorgeous giant deck, outdoor games & hot tub plus two restaurants with wonderful servers & views and good food. Slow internet.
