Ballas Apartments

We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. Highly recommend this lovely place for a stay in Kefalonia!

The reception was very pleasant. The private garden and access to the sea are very pleasant. The proximity to the center is very convenient. The large, shady parking lot is a big plus. The geographical location allows short excursions to so many destinations

Communication with the property is easy and good. The owner is always available and kind. We got a free bottle of water, coffee, tea and wines. We can borrow umbrellas for a day out. The location is beautiful and nice, in the middle of the island and with good beaches around. The bathroom and furniture (not renovated yet) need attention.

We had a lovely stay at Ballas! Our studio’s balcony faced the sea & had beautiful climbing bougainvillea which offered extra privacy. The kitchen and bathroom fittings are dated but in my opinion add to the cosy charm, and everything is very clean! The garden area is where you can read in the evening while listening to the sea lapping on the rocks. There is access to the sea from the back of the property which is all rock but large bean bag cushions are provided for comfort. Stavros and the housekeeper (whose name I didn’t get!) are both lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for a lovely stay!
