Very clean and was near the hospital where we had appointments. Friendly staff and very accommodating.

The Excellent: the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. Amazing! It was a California King which I liked. Plenty of pillows.
The Good: Shower was beautiful, plentiful hot water, just Ok pressure. The shower head was very high on the wall. Good for tall people.
The awful: Breakfast. Even though it was included in my room rate, it was incredibly disappointing. Dirty silverware, long delay in getting seated and getting coffee, (then no spoon to stir coffee!), meal was not prepared fresh, but certainly came from warming pans in kitchen. (Extra charge for fried eggs!) Only white bread for toast option and when offered a bagel, it came cold and without butter or jelly. Scrambled eggs were lukewarm, sausage was clearly precooked and light gray, hash browns were deep fried then left to sit. The bacon was the only redeeming part of the meal. Would be livid if I paid the menu price of $15!
The unacceptable: only Coffee Mate for coffee in lobby. To this coffee drinker, that is a travesty. Powdered creamer in the room. Awful.
All in all, I would stay here, for that heavenly bed!
Pro tip: Do not pay extra to include breakfast. There are plenty of great places to eat in Morgantown. There are also great local and national chain places for great coffee.

Room was great, lobby just fine, bar restaurant has some issues.
They were out of some basic things (no cheddar cheese, menu shows and described link sausage and they served patty’s, cranberry function did not work on the beverage dispenser).

Bathroom did not have exhaust and it was horrible. Everything was soaked from moisture after showering.

It was a huge advantage to have access to the area shuttle whenever we needed it. The Holiday Inn area shuttle allowed us to be driven to and picked up at Mon Health whenever we needed it. Since I needed surgery, I never had to worry about driving because of the shuttle. The shuttle is free, so it also saves on the high cost of taxis. It truly sets this hotel apart from other similar hotels in the area. It was the main reason I chose this hotel.

Everyone was fantastic and did everything to accommodate us. Water pressure in shower was real low though. Other then that we found everything we needed and our room was very clean.

When you walk in the place is very nice, but there was something strange and sticky on the carpet in the room we had. There were a lot of dogs, which is fine, but I did hear barking a lot. It was convenient though and we were only there one night so it was fine. Would be a good location if you are going to a football game.

We stayed overnight because my grandson was having surgery...no one was friendly at all...did their job, but definitely nothing extra. This is unfortunate since they are directly across from the hospital...going that extra mile with friendliness would have been nice...loud group there also...stomping late into the night and up at 4:30am...not much sleep before surgery... disappointed for sure considering the cost 😳

Stayed here the night before a tour of WVU. Absolutely loved the hotel and the staff was super friendly and helpful! If my son chooses to attend WVU, this is be our go-to hotel in the area!

I was allergic to either the air conditioning filters or the detergent used on the linens. THAT IS NOT anybody's fault. I sneezed from time I got there until I left. My roommate did not. I went back a day or so later after the symptoms went away and they came back when I stayed there. It is a great hotel. The only other negative thing was that the restaurant service wasn't the best. I sat for a long time to be waited on and on Sunday morning (Fathers Day) I wanted to take my father there for breakfast, but it did not open on time so we left. (I understand the challenges we face in the post-COVID reality. I just think the hotel restaurant can do better and opening on time would be a great start.
